TAZA AND ALL VISITORS AT THE NEW ART GALLERY OPENED BY TAZA YESTERDAY.....
Art, is also food
Food, is also art
Therefore....art=food
and thus.....food=art
I have ALWAYS enjoyed using food in art and art in food. I like to make jokes with food. I use food for fun!
I have done so many funny photos, paintings, gifts, arrangements, parties...where food and humour is present....that at this very moment.......
I cannot even remember ONE OF THEM!!!
Let me think.....
ond of the most entertaining things I have done with food is when I made a cake. Actually, here is

the recipie of how to h ave fun with a cake HOW TO HAVE FUN WITH A CAKE
1. Make a simple cake.
2. Prepare a large piece of paper and design on it different shapes that have messages in each one.
(what I did was write in each piece "art is life" or "if you eat this piece, you are an artist" or "you are creative"...things like that)
3. THEN put the CAKE on top of this paper with messages (actually I covered the message with plastic paper used for foods)
(you have to know where the shapes are, to repeat them with a line drawn on the icing of the cake)
4. THEN when people cut their special shape of cake, following the line on the icing, they will read their fortune underneath!
5. It is a fun way to serve a cake. And a great way to make people laugh!!
(this photo is NOT the kind of cake I am talking about....but a lovely one from the area I live in, in Umbria, Italy)
AND LAUGHTER IS HEALING
SALUDOS HERMANAS...
YAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
FACES
These are a couple of faces that I did with my Chinese experience as inspiration. I love working with colors, and when I do a face, I like to change what I am seeing. I don't like copying from real life (and am not good at it!) but like to use color to give a feeling and expression to the face. Faces intrigue me! And we are all so different in how the different "pieces" (eyes, nose, mouth, faceshape, brows, etc) are put together. I study people on the bus, or whenever I can...and it is fascinating.

Wonderful. Faces are so cute and they are our main ID card!
I am totaly clear that we need to use our photos in the groups, very cleary. I do not enjoy seing people putting angels or flowers or Osho or buda photos... instead.
It is marvelous to realize how many faces... billions of them...
Maybe it is nice to put ALL your works in a row in ONE discussion. Well, when youn want, open another discussion - I hate call it discussion. Love.

hello...I see you in the next room!! just two "faces" away, I mean, two places away. Up top. Hello!!
I really must get some housework done. If my house had the hours I spent here on the computer.....my house would be IMMACULATE!!! IT WOULD SHINE!!
But instead,
Housework minus (-) time on computer equals (=).....

something like THIS....!!! Here I am photographing in my kitchen...where I "SHOULD BE" cooking and washing dishes!
This is REAL creativity. Not just being a housewife. I have a feeling that naturaly, you are feeling GUILTY, being a (f.) Housewife and doing nothing, and one has a (f.) husband and a (f.) dog, and all that steamboat straight (f.) thing!
Therefore, one of the things, according to the Transational Analysis, is to laugh on your own face.
(Instead of "Be a light unto yourself!" - says the Buddha Gautama...):>>>
"BE A JOKE UNTO YOURSELF!" - says Osho.
I love you, Stephanie... tell your husband!
Those DELICIOUS strawberries were brought to me by my "buddy" who I lived with when I was 19. We hadn't seen each other for 30 years, and she showed up with the berries. Don't try to figure out my age now....just have another berry, won't you?
A SAMPLE OF STEPHANIE'S ARTWORK
(mostly of the last year or two)

Mediums used here mostly acrylic, watercolor, pencil...the shoe is a real shoe, modified with different medium and no, they are not chocolate.

This is my sister....

This was inspired in Beijing, China...a person was picking up papers with tongs, so I repeated the shape and the figures seem to now be on fields of wheat, when actually it is the hat they wear

This is how I worked on the above piece - covering the figures with tracing paper so that I could paint around them...then I peeled off the tracing paper afterwards

The young Chinese really impressed me...so I was inspired to do a fun piece with hair of all colors, and faces of all different shapes and features...because, there is a vast difference between the Chinese just as there are between all nations

My friend brought her daughter to my house and I took a photo of her. Her hair really had this blue shine to it!

I really love irony...this lightbulb tree growing lightbulbs and the person walking with a huge lightbulb in his basket. Love working with different materials too...here, paint and ink.

I was so impressed with the beauty of Chinese women and their flowing hair. This watercolor painting was inspired bythe thought of Chinese women....and the female figure, relaxing or sleeping makes me feel very relaxed, and I enjoy looking and creating these kinds of figures.

Upon joining iPeace I created so many different drawings, cartoons, etc. This was one of me....in a peaceful state!

This is one of about 35 or more shoe sculptures I have created and shown in Italy and the USA. These were on the theme of chocolate, but no chocolate was used. Like I said, I love working with so many mediums...have always been intrigued with them, love the experimentation possible with them.
MAR VE LOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
