I have grown collard greens. But, with my weak finer motor skills I find gardening really hard work. I am better at other things. Not everyone is that good at farming. I tend to do well in the spiritual area where I can push my limits and get results. I am glad that we have technology to help us produce food, I just think we need to use this technology in a more spiritually responsibly way. I do wish we would grow food with an emphasis on health and on how easy it is to harvest. I believe if we were more practical we could produce more of a quantity of healthy food with less slave labor. If our population continues to grow there will be a lot of stress on our natural resources, no matter how innovative we can get at producing more food. Using corn to produce fuel is not the best idea. I require a high protein diet so I require enough soy protein and if I must eat bean starch need enough beano(digestive aid) to help me handle it. I have not yet decided to use beano and would need it with each meal with soy protein. I use whey protein now since it is cheaper. I do use vitamin and mineral supplements and would be afraid not to use them based on the fact I have gotten sick when not taking them. My life is always high stress and I must have the nutrition to handle it. Everyone is different in what type of healthy diet works for them. I do believe we will have to eat less meat in the future, but of course that will end the existence of a lot of livestock animals. Have a good week.
Hello Sabine,
I've just watched a couple of films from your How Cuba Survived Peak Oil video section. I've heard of this organic revolution for years now and your page has provide d me with an opportunity to understand more. This will happen if we see the need to revive our sense of belonging to a larger family of life, with which we have shared our evolutionary process."
