Directions into the Second Global Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes location
Howdy Folks
Seed Camp has moved onto the site proper with about 25 folks (from several countries) at present doing set-up needs, more on the way and more needed as it is a BIG JOB preparing for a month long event with an estimated 1,000-3,000 folks coming from around the world. The largest number expected to be here mid-month.
Early donations to the Magic Hat can be made (and are very needed) via our Website:
www.globalgatheringofthetribes.com
The site location is at kilometer 31.5 past the mining town of San Juan de la Costa (entrance to that town is restricted and the turn-off to the coast road in just before it and will be marked). The site is about an hour drive from La Paz.
The road past San Juan de la Costa where the pavement ends is newly grated and accessible for all vehicles. Low suspension vehicles will park closer to the road and the road in the Bus Village (motor homes) is experiencing minor repair by the set-up crew.
Folks are advised to bring in 5 gallon water bottles, which folks can get by putting a deposit on them, or buy them. We will have a large water tank on site and trucks will deliver refills for that, but each camp area needs it's bottles to fill from the tank, as do Community Kitchens, Kid Village, C.A.L.M. (the medical/health camp, a.k.a. Center for Alternative Living Medicine, Work crew areas, etc.) and other community spaces, so bring an extra bottle or two to contribute to those. Motor Homes please come with full water tanks)
Bring bulk food supplies for contributions to the community kitchens, as well as large tarps and light rope & poles for construction of shade areas, hand tools and shovels for work needs.
This is your Gathering and all that you wish to see there will be because you will create it.
Happy Rainbow Trails
