From an American Soldier, an American citizen to all of all the world's people!!!

I talk to you now because I can, because I must...........There are great minds all over this planet. I cannot describe my experince in Iraq or the war on terror, please, do not ask me too. I will not, mine is a personal battle. One that transcends life or death. I have seen too much, felt too much, both for my fellow soldiers and for the civilians I have seen victimized by this horrible conflict.
I only wish to say this...................................

SINCE 2003 I HAVE FACED AND SEEN DEATH, FROM BOTH SIDES. IT IS NOT WHAT EITHER OF OUR SIDES WISH. I HAVE HELD MUSLIM CHILDREN IN MY ARMS AS THEY DIED WITH TEARS IN MY EYES AND SADNESS IN MY HEART! I HAVE HELD FELLOW AMERICANS AND NATO SOLDIERS IN MY ARMS AS THEY DIED WITH PURE SADNESS IN MY SOUL. THIS CANNOT, AND MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE. I PLEDGE MY SOUL TO THIS CAUSE.

LOVE ALWAYS, AN AMERICAN SOLDIER,
TY

my thoughts are also with you Ty. I have a daughter currently serving in the Royal Australian Air Force and wish with all my heart there was no need for armed forces. Having said that, the how to solve the mentality that violence will end violence ? this is a great place to start. from a small seed a mighty......
Individuals wanting a better place to be, making small changes in their lives and attitudes, can make the difference, I would like to think I will be alive to see this difference, however our time on this wonderful planet is all too short. Make a small difference in thoughts and attidudes to help the plan for peaceful solutions.
Live happy thoughts, share peaceful love, allow the healing energy sent by others to give you a moment of calm.

What soldiers and others involved in war go through is destructive for the body, mind and soul. There is a technique which can help. I urge all sufferers of Trauma to look at the evidence of this amazing technique. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain through using it.

PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) responds surprisingly well to EFT. In most cases the intense feelings from those flashbacks and intrusive memories either vanish or are materially reduced within a few minutes of applying EFT. Also, repeated applications of EFT often eliminate these feelings permanently so that they no longer re-appear on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Ty and all
here's the link to prrof about how EFT works to free us from traumas.

Wow the EFT is amazing, the cost is nothing compared to the trauma of the 'war' going on constantly inside these peoples minds. And the Implications for mental health are fantastic, I am looking at knowing more and finding someone on this side of the world who can do this, perhaps something i will learn myself !
I don't understand why a person wo's traumatized being soldier of a Nation during a war, must pay himself money to come back from the trauma. I think his Nation must pay for him! Sorry, but I am not U.S. citizen. Luisella
Ty, thank you for sharing your experiences which of course were a result of people mistrusting, being mislead and being misused. We can only hope that most wars will stop and that differences will be settled in another way (such as the leaders fighting it out or having a good old football game). You are a true soldier of peace for it truly takes great strength to remain steadfast and strong. You may like The Jesus Opal which we have which was a gift to Gregory from Jesus who speaks through him. Jesus has told us that he said- 'Someone may hit your cheek once but do not allow them to hit you again. For the greatest gift you can give God is by loving and taking care of yourself.' Blessings of Peace to you and yours... Shelina (of Gregory and Shelina)
Thank you,
All of you who have responded and to all that will respond to my outburst.
I have some words of wisdom that I feel compelled to share with the world, they are my own words, from my heart.

"These times we live in may feel hopeless to some, and to others who see they are not you are the ones that must pick up the torch of peace and move foward."
It is difficult, very difficult, to return home and attempt to pick up my life where it was before these experinces.

I have choosen to start my own business in renewable energy in an effort to help stop wars over resources (Oil).
This is truly what Iraq was all about, I saw it first hand, over and over again.
The friends I made in Iraq are real people, real muslims who did not care what religion we each followed, they cared about their families as we here in America do, they cared about their future as we here in America do.

I cannot speak for others, only myself. These experinces I had, they have drawn deep feelings from me.
I will never be the same caring, fun loving person I once was. But, this does not mean there is a black cloud in my life, this means I now fully understand just how precious life is and it has sharpened my senses.

Now, when I stand in the woods, or in a meadow, I take the time to hear the sounds of nature, I take the time to smell the wild flowers blooming and the birds chirping. I take the time in these settings to reflect not with sadness, not with questions as to why this has happened, but with hope in my heart that people will see these events are a useless waste of our lives. So many dead, so many gone and yet, For those of us left we must move on, we must committ ourselves to ensuring this stops. People must learn to talk to one another and resolve their differences in a peaceful manner.

All is not lost on me, I hear each and everyone of you. I have joined your ranks in an effort to find solace for my soul and it is working. Slowly, I have started down the path to regain my humanity, I will always carry the memories I now have from my experinces, it is how I choose to view them that is the toughest battle I fight.
There is not one day that goes by that I do not think of the people I have seen die, but I choose to view the positives they left in the world.

With love for all and a very deep felt thank you to all of you for speaking with me,

Ty
Ty,

I just found this thread. I'm glad you opened your heart to our friends in IPeace. I see that IPeace has helped you in finding peace within yourself.

We all have our inner battles to fight and your courage not just in the war zone, but more so your courage to look inside you and find solace for your soul is admirable.

Keep safe and God bless you..
Thank You Les,

I think it is fantastic that the group has come to help me get through this. It is one of the 3 reasons my friend suggested I join IPEACE. He had heard me talking and has been there for me that he thought the people on here from around the world could not only help me, but learn from me. I am so greatful for him, he has been my rock in light of the situation, but now, now I am finding alot of people that help me to work through this and for that I am forever in each of their debt. Including you Les.

Ty
Your writing has brought a lot of attention and lot of visitors. I wish you luck, strength. I hope you find peacefulness. People need each other, we are all pieces of a huge puzzle. Keep opening up your soul and write, and it will help for sure.
As long as you can comunicate, do so. And be in nature when you can. Nature can help cure. As walking, movement.
And keep writing to us, or for yourself.
Best of luck - you will be better I am sure. Because you are expressing your inner self and soul and we are listening.
Stephanie
Mrs. Seymour,
I want to thank you for keeping my spirit alive. You, like so many others have brought true hope to my soul.

Respectfully,
Ty

Dear Ty It is Sunday and I just took my daughter to the station and got up really early. Ipeace even keeps us from going back to bed!!
I believe in motivation, and inspiration. When and if you feel it lacking, try to get it - even if you don't have it, get it from others who do!
You, from your experience will know SO SO much more than we know about negative things. But think of incredible people who have been through hell and have been able to work themselves out of it and become examples for many. The problem is is that many times I think that people who really need help do not reach out.
A friend of mine once, on Valentine's day, wrote to all her girlfriends saying that she needed help getting through that day due to her divorce and feeling desperately alone. We all helped.
Ask for help, but also try to find examples of those human beings who excelled in turning their lives around.
I think you can do it!
Perhaps emotional suffering is the worst, even worse than physical? But there are incredible minds here on iPeace - it is fantastic!
I just love people and comunication - haven't had a very rough time in life, but dealing with people can be frustrating.
You just might become an example to others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Think: motivation. And get motivated by those really special few who have written books about starting over, and inspiration. And don't forget a good walk with your eyes looking into the distance at nature.
Why, do you think beautiful scenery was created in the first place!
Please call me Stephanie. There is no need for being formal when we are all the same puzzle.
With friendship
Stephanie
