Here what I mean to say is some bad people involved in wrong act may be sometimes innocent or forced to do something wrong. How do we as a good guys identify their weakness, give them the opportunities to change to good or help them get corrected. what if we do nothing to correct the wrong then we are wrong at the first sight of mistake. Do you agree or not.... One must do something to bring more peace on earth, lets try at least...great!!!

Hi There,

I just got into this site and it impressed me! Then I scanned some talks. Yours caught my attention and I just wanted to comment.

Your last thought is dead on. If we see an injustice, no it is more than that; if we see a wrong, but set back and let it pass, then I think we are as guilty. If I saw someone stealing from your home, but said nothing to you nor the police, then I am as guilty as the nighttime thief.

OK, I am not a social expert, but do have some sense (my wife disagrees).

Sir, you really said something to which I am not sure how to respond. But I will try to express my view. It is really hard to decide when to get involved or to decide another course of action. A lot of things are situational dependent.

I work in the medical field and have saw many wrongs; what i mean is in the patients we see.
Now, many times I have saw child abuse, spousal abuse..............

We have guidelines to handle those things. But, when it comes to personal things, your friend, your neighbor, or a person on the street. Do, in your judgment, the right thing.

If it is a comfortable, not the right word, a friend that is doing wrong. Ask whoever to talk, that is, let them tell you what is going on. Then make a decision. It might be as simple as: hey, take a break and pay attention to your family.

You have really asked and have hit on a very important topic. I do believe that inaction is a decision and that does make one just as guilty. But when to intervene, I do not know. Maybe if it is a friend, just some talk and understanding. If it is beyond that, then talk to whoever, the police, a social worker, and if the situation threatens a life, for example, go to the authorities.

Peace is the way. But, if one person thinks of something, it is an idea, if two get involved, then we have a movement.

Seriously, if you can help someone, even in the most little way, do it. You will make a bigger impact than you can imagine.

Something for thought: (I am as guilty as anyone)

1. Have you ever saw a homeless person and thought, "maybe I should buy them a meal" but did
not.
2.Have you ever had an elderly neighbor who needed a ride to the store and thought "maybe I
should give them a ride" but did not.
3.Have you saw an injustice and thought, "maybe I should notify someone (situational dependent)
and did not.

You have asked a very important point and I really do not know the answer. But you can not go wrong if you treat people the way you want to be treated. When to get involved as you said, I do not know except that to think and use judgement.

I would say this, listen to your heart, listen to your inner-voice, it rarely leads you wrong.

Hi Bev Bullard,

Thanks for putting your views, it is really nice to of. Thats exactly what I was hoping to make some difference in one individual and then that one will become two n two into four likewise. Great way to begin. I really liked ur last line listen to your heart and inner voice it rearly leads you wrong. U are absolutely correct. As a layman everyone feels guilty in some situations or the other, we can not change the whole world, believe in power of one and make some difference and that difference should be nothing but peace n peace only.

There goes a saying "Don't ask what a society can do to you, rather do what you can do good to the society" there you make the little difference and that difference should be nothing but peace n peace only.

So when you try to make some difference in the society or when many hearts and minds are involved its still more difficult to make the difference then as u said correctly "listen to ur heart and inner voice to make decisions" you can never go wrong. Its easier said and done, but reality bites so best thing is stick to your basic law of nature.

Thanks and your views are much appreciated by many others..
I realize that all wrong actions are based on wrong thinking, and if we can change the way WE think, then the actions will naturally change. Consciousness cannot do wrong, but ignorance can do no right. My favorite definition: "evil is ignorance with an attitude."

So many people are walking around with fear and pain and incredible self-doubts and self-delusions, that they will naturally ACT from these wrong ideas, and create more pain, fear, doubt and delusion, spreading like a virus throughout human consensus thinking. There is so much BS in "race-mind" which continues to create and recreate more of itself

So lies have to be busted where they exist, first of all within our own minds. Then when we encounter more BS, we won't give it energy, and won't act from that level of ignorance. By our example and by calling lies when we see them, we change the energy of race-mind just a little bit, and there's less evil in the world.

But sometimes, we are called to bow up and stand up for something that needs immediate attention, like stopping abuse, stopping the war, and holding people accountable for the actions based on BS. Not by judging them, but by calling a lie for what it is, and stopping the ignorance at the root of it, BEFORE more damage is done.

Salaam, Shalom, Shanti, Peace.
