Rather than move to wilderness and put in a road and pave it, and dig a whole with a machine, and make a basement then put up a house, I seek to live in a way that accents the beauty of my home, rather than move to a place of beauty, and destroy it in the process of wanting it for myself.
Paradise cannot be bought, only surrender ourselves to, and become its garden tenders.

Please note too though, the tree stumps. I DID cut some down for firewood and for sides of raised garden beds. I walked the land with great care to find what part on it I could live with the least amount of damage.
I have sold this land (I owned all that was in this photo) there is now a road to where the tipi was, I had to sell this land for my son as is found in my blogs, I did what a father was forced to do.
I can live with that, better than if I had not, and as my son who I raised here in part told me, he was thankful for the sacrifice I made to get him out of that state (S.S.) and had I not he would not have lived (suicide due to what they and their drugs were doing to his mind) to become an adult (his words).
His life or paradise was my choice, I chose his life, and have no regrets.
But I cannot go forward very fast if I keep looking backwards, other than to see what I can do and will simply work hard to do again.
Only now, I know how to do it even better, than I did then.

Well, Tree, sometimes there is no choice, because had you kept it at the expense of your son, it would have been ruined for you. You are so correct we must surrender. We cannot truly own land, anyway, we can only become temporary stewards. ~ Brightest Blessings

I commend you for finding a better way of interacting with nature...and for sacrificing your slice of paradise for your son...may you find heaven...wherever you reside...

Well solarmoon, there comes a time to do that every once in a while.
It helps because the fabric is canvas, to water proof it, and to keep misquotes down.
But also the very reason for making that much smoke?
Was so I could take the picture like this TEE HEE
