I sold the little Yamaha recently as I was hardly using it. I'm looking around now but may not buy another bike until the spring, it depends if just the right thing pops up and can't be resisted! Whatever it is, I don't think it will be a Harley as I think I'd find one a bit too much to handle now. I rather like the look of the Kawasaki GPZ500 so it could be one of those.
Hope You get your "more ooomph" Les..:-))

A good few years ago now I was in a local small town with my daughter and we heard a distant rumble, it gradually got louder and louder until it felt like an earthquake, not that I really know what that would feel like, then we saw the first biker, followed by what seemed like hundreds of bikers. It was a magnificent sight. One of their clan/chapter/tribe? had died and was being buried in the Church nearby. It was a sight and sound I will never forget.
I love bikes too, though I have never been on one. My dad had a bike after the war, they were pretty rare then because of scarcity of petrol and metal, he was a big hit because of it, only 1 or 2 other young men had wheels!
