Where is it - finding the main root cause to the state of Un-Peace?
Just joined here, beyond the invitation of my Peace Friend Naima Benali, the transqurist :).
Great profile survey, and just wanted to take my thoughts here for conversation about the complexity and interconnectedness related to the core causes of the Opposite of Peace.
I do not name the Opposite with word, because we would rather start talking to where we want to go, not what we have. The opportunity, not the problem. Many live of mapping the problem into its extremely detailed level, but we know enough to move to the solution since thousands years back. The fact that we still are here, the humanity, is a proof in itself that life system support forces (main one: Love!) always overruns the the negative counter-force. The Light Side....!
With that said, here are my shot for a conversation on where and how to take us to the State of Peace...

In fact, it is like dragging in one end of a spaghetti. If you begin in one end, you see that everything is interconnected, and moves multi-dimensional. Prejudice is one dominant reason for fear, as in filling the gap in between the known and unknown with the pre-judged, and economic disparities, where poverty is one main expression, is mainly structural governed by prejudice towards those trapped into the vicious circle - no job, no salary, no savings. Microfinance and small-scale entrepreneurship empowered by supportive resources is one way to break this vicious circle. In the end, the market is colour-blind, and if you get the chance to offer something on it with equal conditions and opportunities - e. g. getting capital, energy and communication access - humanity can lift itself out of the state of unrest as for now, to move towards Peace, Tranquility and Prosperity for all. This requires a rewiring of our collaborative brain where we move from a main view of zero-sum game to a plus-sum game where creativity is one of the most unlimited resources we have. Get it on fire!
