iPeace Video....A DIAMOND ???? !!!

I believe it was made at short notice..yet, It saddened me to see iPeace compared to a Diamond in the Video....

Diamond miners and their families live in very bad conditions. When large mining companies win a mining concession it often means that people who may have lived on the land for generations are evicted without compensation or paid a pitable sum.

Diamonds and what they represent take on a whole new meaning when you see the villages and towns near diamond mines.

Diamonds are not rare....many semi precious stones are rarer...

diamonds are made valuable...

a) by demand...

b) by marketing hype (Diamonds are a girls best friend) created to sell them and which has made them a "must have".

c)" Blood Diamonds" have been/are used to bankroll WARS !!!

The people who dig them out of the earth..find them in streams, cut and polish them.. are poor, many are children and they are..

...the grim reality that tarnishes the glitter.

Sorry....BUT, a diamond was just not appropriate !!
