Apocalypse Not!
People predict the end of the world when they don't have answers to the most important questions. Questions relating to where we all came from and why we are here. Human beings can't end the world but they can poison the earth's atmosphere beyond repair, thus making it impossible for life as we know it to exist. This is the case today as many people around the world prepare for the so-called Great Apocalypse.
Those who predict the end of the world base their predictions on religious writings documented thousands of years ago when people believed the earth was flat, and if we were meant to fly, we would have been born with wings. Well, we were not born with wings but we fly today because scientist studied the laws of nature (i.e.) birds in flight). Scientist then applied the dynamics of flight into the design of airplanes.
It is the same when we relate to outdated religious dogma that predicts the end of days or the destruction of the world. We can preserve the earth's atmosphere and bring about peace around the world, but we have to think in terms of the laws that govern the universe and not follow ancient writings that predict doom and gloom made by men who lived in the long distant past. I agree that many people are very pessemistic these days about their lives and indeed about their deaths. I also think it's even too much to need to know where we came from or why we're here. For me it's more about taking advantage of the good things and enjoying what we have with the people we have.
People who base predictions of the Apocalypse on ancient texts should not follow them so blindly, but at the same time it is important to respect their beliefs. Maybe they just need to respect other people's beliefs sometimes.

I believe that it is very important today for us to know who we are in order to realize what capabilities we have as a human being in influencing what goes on in our lives. We need to understand our system and how to take care of it and use it to our best advantage. Science is revealing today that we are configured like a quantum computer and we are programmable. The Universe itself appears to be a data bank that as a computer the human has the ability to access for unlimited amounts of information.
More on this later as I just stumbled upon this dialog as i was doing something else. And must head off to accomplish that task.

I welcome the end of the world. I feel the systems failing, see it all around.,The ways we knew are outmoded. Do not fear. The new will arise from the ashes of the old. If you have your psyche invested in the old systems of the world, then yes, it is scary to see this world end.
It is needed however to build new ideals of diversity, peace, love, and connectiveness. Rejoice! How might we have a "new age" unless we end the old? The economic collapse shows that we were off track. Perhaps a system of co-operation rather than competition will lead to universal prosperity. Wars have led to wars with no real end to conflicts in sight. Peace through respect for each other. Dialog from a point of love. Sure, this too will take some learning. So let the lessons begin, and let it begin with me!
Time to invent a new reality. Dream, engage, and build. Rejoice! The dawn of a new day begins as we come to learn it is us who create our reality! So create...

Love be the Way.

Agree to respect to other belief systems. Beware of thinking that a follower of something understands themselves the intended messages of that faith. Jesus Christ said many beautiful enlightened things, but some would twist His words to mean something altogether different. Other examples can be found with other great Masters who have taught. Study wisdom and read apocalyptic stories as warnings and times of change. These are the times to truly let one's inner Light shine.

What if....
due to our limited understanding of what was meant to be hidden..
The "Apocalypse" has already HAPPENED? As in, okay, been there, did that!
So those who are still waiting for it, wow are they going to be surprised, they missed it!
See, I've read 3 Bibles cover to cover, like BOOKS are supposed to be read, to get the whole spirit.
I'm okay with 'preparing' for global collapse of all systems, but that does not mean I live for it.
After preparing for that, the thing I then have to prepare for is world peace.
I am on a wind and solar powered computer, been this way most of my lifetime.
I mean, I saw the need to change way back then regarding it not being wise to destroy what is keeping life going here.
So, like, why "wait" to be forced into change when I can do it (been there did that) while I sit and watch the rest of the world go "OMG ! Change! Time to freak out!"
Whats to freak out about if I already did the change?
Prophets had it right, if you keep going in a certain direction, your going to reach "x" destination.
So, like the prophets suggested, instead, I changed course.
To me, the world (the old one 'duh') came to an end in the year 2000.
I'm just waiting for everyone else to figure that out, so more of us will join in on this new one.

If the highest form of technology was a camel, and you saw "that" in a vision?
wouldn't you want to try and describe it and warn people?
I can go on, but feel this post is going to be to long as it is!
I mean, if this has ALREADY HAPPENED, and we just haven't figured that out yet (as a collective)
Then the prophesies were not wrong, we were.
Just... to raise a real possibility, I don't hear much about being "possible"....
Like, if there are more people alive NOW than there has ever lived and died in all human history.....
You know how many prophets and Gandhi's and Einstein's, we have among us RIGHT NOW?
The math says the odds of that are a bit overwhelming even for the skeptics.
Now, scattered all over the world..how to bring the world of these people together for peace?
Gee I dont know, maybe start an international social site devoted to peace???
Then the next step is to say
"HI ! Pleasure to meet you!"
I read the prophesies so, I searched for this place.
Cuz they saw this coming, too. So did I, over 40 years ago (seriously, I've just been, waiting until the right time, and I was only off by about a month.)
