You Are Cordially Invited To Join Brainstorm Art For Peace & Justice, And Help Make The World Peace Fair A Reality!
Brainstorm Art For Peace and Justice creator Serge Da Sylva writes, "The purpose of this mission is to gather interest and participation around the world for a very powerful idea. The establishment of a World Peace Fair. I am making videos to explain this concept which is already on youTube. I will add more soon.
We are looking for thinkers, activists, artists, photographers, bloggers, musicians, poets, and dreamers to join with us in a potent action for world peace and justice. I would like to offer an idea as a starter to this discussion.
I have created this group on facebook named Brainstorm!
"Have you ever been to a Renaissance Fair or a Folk Festival? These happen all over the world. They last up to 10 weeks at a time where every weekend, the fair opens to thousands of patrons. They are usually done in rural or suburban areas (i.e.) vacant fields and other natural settings, as people enjoy many different entertainers from Shakespeare to old medieval choirs, clowns and jugglers. Merchants and crafter artisans sell their creations and the atmosphere is very sweet!"
“There is one popular peace fair called The Kerrville Folk/Music Festival. It is a gathering for the creativity of the soul. It goes on for 18 straight days! There is a big main stage and a secondary theater in the camping area with tons of venues! Not to mention the singer songwriter’s workshops, continuous music and overall wonderful experience that it is.”
“This Will Be The Spirit That Drives The World Peace Fair!”
“So imagine now, This World Peace Festival! Let me paint the picture nice. I am talking of a festival with music from all over the world. This will be theatre from around the globe. We will have art and cinema, as well as information kiosks for causes that espouse the vision of peace and justice for all people.”
“We are also talking of a vast internet with video/audio links plus what ever technology has to offer, permitting people all over the world to tune into what is happening at the festival itself as it happens in real time, and also keeping the connection alive around the clock. We accomplish this by having a democratic flow of ideas and by empowering members of the World Peace Festival with input access to all forums and polls.”
“For example, let us say we have an emplacement in the state of New York, or in a fifty mille radius of Montreal Quebec that would permit 200 craft artisans to have booths that could hold up to 20,000 people. Now imagine people all over the world are tuned in because their favorite artists are part of it, or they have information kiosk, or mostly because they love the atmosphere of peace and justice.”
“The forums and the ideas represented in the forums would be the guidelines. A festival of laughter and beauty, married with awareness! Finally, in the words of John Lennon, “Just Imagine all the people” around the world ready to pitch in and invent a culture of bridges and empowerment, that brings us all together as one!”
“So, we would like to invite you all to a circle of words, friends and ideas, and also ask you to invite your friends to join us in making The World Peace Fair a reality!”
