WHAT WILL WE DO?

Change.
I have been studying the climate of earth independently for around 35 years.
Global warming is not quite the correct phrase anymore but is referred to as Climate Change.
(took long enough! LOL!)

Logic, is that as the ocean and large water areas increase in temperature, so too does the rate of water evaporation increase, this then creates a higher percentage of cloud cover over the planet, which then reflects more light.

Logic: life (according to science) has been here millions and millions of years, through mass destructive events such as huge meteors, massive volcanic eruptions etc. Yet most life on earth, is confined to exist within a set of temperature extremes, and if it falls above or below these temperatures, all life on that level would be wiped out.
This has not happened, nor would take place if not for a natural balance system in place on this planet to help prevent that.
The cloud cover is a good example.

However, when you increase cloud cover, your also going to change certain patterns of weather that existed prior to that increase.
Higher winds, unseasonable temperatures, extreme temperatures, and extreme weather then result.
What is going to happen? If you view the move "Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore, you or just go to Part of the motivation Status you will find that same chart at that location as well as the current estimated CO2 percentage.
And you will see that the levels have no history of ever being at this point, so we have NO MODEL to predict the events that are already taking place, and will take place.
What shall we do?
Change and stop destroying this earth in order to live here.
The only question is, will we do so soon enough to prevent reaching critical point.
That is the point of no return.
The planet will transform itself, because its ability to maintain balance has been exceeded and it will be a runaway change I do not think humans are going to be able to stop.
I saw this many decades ago, my former neighbor got those ice core samples Al Gore had to dig to find.
I do not base my observations on government funded science.
As you'll also note, the cut off date on the "released" scientific analysis on that chart....

Seeing the truth, was enough to motivate me to CHANGE.
No less than seeing a cliff ahead, people tend to change direction.
I rarely use a car (have one for emergency use only)
I make my own power from wind and sun and am expanding that to include methane.
I did not know how to do these things when I started.
I MADE myself LEARN.

If we are going to wait for our governments and multinational corporations to change FOR US.....
Logic would then state these changes would have taken place during the 70's when the problems first became blatantly obvious.

Simple truth, WE are the world.
If you want it to change, change ourselves.
Point the finger at ourselves, and accept responsibility for our own actions.
Why point at the oil companies? While I hand them my money as I fill my tank?
Why point at the electric companies dumping coal fumes into the atmosphere and nuclear waste,
as I PAY THEM to DO THAT....
It is not THEM who needs to change,
We are THEM, it is WE who need to change.

Or as the lesson of living with wolves taught me.....

You can not get ahead of the herd, if your following it.

Be, the future.

Or: In the 70's we waited for the world to change.
It never did, so, we "do it ourselves"

I am this world equally as you are.
I changed.
Its already happening,
I am that proof.
You see the cliff,
do you still want to keep going the same way you have been going?
Change means, doing something different, not doing something the same.
It means learning how.
Then do the change,
that way your not running in the dark not knowing where to place your next step.
If you learn about alternatives like wind and sun etc,
then you change with confidence knowing where your going and what your doing.
Then you remove the fear, for good cause.

And your question is correctly asked,
what are "WE" going to do.
Your not asking the rest of the world to change.
Your pointing the finger in the right direction :D

And to make an answer rather clear,
if we FAIL to change?
The earth will take care of that for us.
Those are our choices.
I took the path that was easier,
than being FORCED to change,
after it was to late.

There is an organism that lives in the ocean.
It was here before the ones that produced oxygen.
It produces sulfur. It needs a warmer water temperature,
to once again, take over.

I don't see that as a good option, of waiting,
to be FORCED to change, so I did so before I HAD TO.
As many of us are doing.
I am grateful to have found you here. Your wisdom inspires.

Global Warming

Global warming
Climate in crisis
Ozone layer thinning
Polluted waters
Dead fish floating
In dirty oceans

No protection
From political leaders
That are owned
By the corporate world
Fresh air to breathe
Without congestion
Fight for what is right
For a better solution

Save your energy
By burning less fuel
Environmental changes
Is needed to rescue our planet
From further damage of destruction
Without strife and worry
Of deterioration

Wasting away what is important
By our own self indulgence
Of taking advantage of what is given to us
For not paying attention
To what is happening all around us

The decision is up to us
To do our part towards positive change
In the future of our next evolution
On the planet Earth
