Sowing Seeds of Peace Currency through mass education

Hello everyone

Delighted to be here! Like to share my effort to spread monetary literacy with ipeace. We need to fundamentally shift our perception of currency from a 400+ year paradigm of 'money-as-debt' to 'money as trust' as it really exists and functions. Our misperception of the nature of money is feeding the war complex and creating untold suffering and injustice by perpetuating greed, speculation and artificial scarcity of currency. Only 2 percent of total currency in the world is actually circulating in real economy.

we need to collectively learn about the existing problems and artificial scarcity inherent with our present monetary banking system. How can we use our collective attention, intention, wisdom and intelligence to change the situation...

Vigorous public dialogue and awareness of this issue is needed to shift the perception of money and open possibilities for abundant currency, creativity, self-actualization, social entrepreneurism and mutual-help in all cultures, economic systems and social networks. It is possible to use our collective wisdom and co-intelligence to innovate and design simple, abundant, self-secure systems at all levels of society, community and technology from local to global villages.

Learn about the financial/banking system (based on fractional reserve) in your own country. Just learned there is a dfifference between privatised central banking and national banking (book Web of Debt)

Also learn about many community currency and open money experiments. Hold the vision for open money in 2009!
