I read some posts here and it's sad but funny in a way. We think of ourselves as the "peace people" yet when we start to talk politics, we fight as well. You can call it "disagree" but it's not peace, that is for sure.

I used to think peace meant end of war. I worked toward that goal long ago, and still do. But I now work as well toward a peace that can truly manifest, because it's based on individuals. Personal peace, with or without war. Simple, real.

Both sentiments above are, of course, lovely to read and consider. Again, perhaps what I mean to be clear on is that I don't believe in universal peace in this world, I can't see it happening. What I can see, and what I work for, is just that individual, one to one realization, for those who want it.

I won't be here forever. While I am, I have no delusions about how much impact I can have on "the world." I try to keep my ideas very simple. I know we all do, I guess.

Communication can be very tricky, even for those of us who agree on the basics. That's what makes it ironic, sad, funny...however we see it. That even those of us who agree continue to discuss, discuss, discuss.

I'm just as much in that mix or I woudn't be on this forum would I?
