12 January 2009: "Is it a satellite or just bright Venus?
"Is there an expert out there who can please clarify something!
Is it a satellite that is shining so brightly every evening above us or is it Venus as someone is suggesting.
There is a big debate going on amongst me and my friends and clarification is needed......."

27 January 2009: "I hope I 'm not the only one who has witnessed the two strange lights over Doha yesterday [26 january].
It was around 9.30 pm when I was standing in front of my house at Matar Kadeem (Old Airport). I looked up randomly and saw a bright flame in the sky. It was appearing tobe the size of a tennis ball with very bright flames like light flickering almost about 2 miles high. It was moving at a very slow pace and had it not been for the height at which it was, I would have ignored it as a balloon.
"All of us were amazed and were joined by a lot of other onlookers. All of us were guessing as to what it could be.
The light kept moving from South to North for about 10 mins.
It was moving in a straight line and than started wobbeling at its place. After about 3-4 more mins, it vanished into the clouds. This was not it. Afterabout another 5 is a imilar appeared in the South horizon and followed a similar pattern. Did anyone on Quatar Living noticed it? What could it be?

Star in South Africa
Dear Editor,
On the evening of Saturday 3 January 2009 we had a bad electrical storm and then the
rain came in buckets. We tumed off the TV and decided to read in bed. My daughter Pat went upstairs to her room and was looking out of her landing window when things started to happen. She called for me to go up the stairs quickly, which I did, and there I saw the clouds had parted and a large area of jet black sky showing, and getting bigger every second. To the south west of our house there was an enormous star all by itself, no others near, and streams of light rays shooting out trom it in all directions. l could hardly believe my eyes. About l0 minutes later, the rolling clouds coming towards us were ablaze with light, as if the sun was
shining again, but no, the first quarter of the new moon appeared to the far right of the heavens trom where the star was.
Then the moon disappeared as the clouds thickened close to us and going overhead. The star remained and I was obliged to go downstairs again after another 20 minutes as I was feeling very dizzy and did not want to fall.
My daughter continued watching this wonderful scène until the clouds covered the heavens again.
All I could think was, is this the sign of Lord Maitreya to greet us tor the New Year and His imminent emergence? I hopeso. We have waited tor him tor such a long time.

On 12 December 2008 Share International distributed a news release announcing that in the very near future a large, bright star would appear in the sky visible throughout the world, night and day.
Around a week later Maitreya will give His first interview on a major US television programme.
Since early January 2009, sightings of the star have been reported trom all over the world and more and more reports are being sent to us daily.
Share International has also received many reports which Benjamin Creme's Master has confirmed to be of the planet Venus and not 'the star'. But we are happy to receive these reports even if they turn out to be wrong. It shows us how more and more people around the world are responding to our information.
We publish here a selection of the first photographs received and a list of sightings confirmed by Benjamin Creme's Master to be the star.

The moment has come

Eventually, men will realize that they are travelling together on a journey of Self-discovery, one which will bring them in time to the feet of the Most Holy.
The essence of this journey of discovery is that it is self-enacted and willed, and at the same time is shared by all members, known and unknown, of the human family.
True it is that all men are brothers, sons of the One Father,
each engaged, consciously or otherwise, in this momentous adventure we call life.
To many today, unfortunately, this adventure is a painful and degrading experience;
to millions, it is unjust and barren, the sooner over the better.
Small wonder is it, therefore, that so many see life as drudgery and grind, their child-engendered dreams of achievement and happiness but distant memories.
Men are born to create and grow in Self-awareness, and need the environment in which that
becomes possible. The terrible disease of commercialization has robbed countless millions of
their birthright and, as its insidious growth encroaches on all aspects of men's lives, its tentacles
of disaster squeeze every generous and human feeling from their hearts.
Humanity is in thrall to commercialization and in peril of its soul.
Reverse
What can men do to reverse this process of disaster?
Already, the current economic and financial chaos, symptoms of the destructive forces of commercialization, are showing men that they can no longer allow this monster to rule their lives; that they must take stock and assess anew their priorities for a more just and healthy economic structure which will the better serve their needs.
There are, of course, many, relatively untouched by the current crisis, who see this time as a 'downturn'
and look forward in full confidence to the inevitable upturn', when we can carry on as before.
This is no longer possible; the blind can no longer lead the blind.
They know not of Maitreya.
Moment
Maitreya has chosen this moment to fulfil His promise to enter the domain of men and to help them on their journey.
He is emerging now;
His herald, the star-sign of His emergence, is seen worldwide by many and is the signal of His appearance, openly, before men.
Using the television resources of today,
He will engage on a series of interviews starting in America and including Japan and many other
countries.
As an ordinary man, undeclared as Maitreya,
He will speak for all those who have no voice, no spokesman.
He will call on men to share the goods of the Earth and to embrace each other as the brothers and sisters they are.
He will show that if we would have peace there is only one way to achieve it:
that is by the realization of justice throughout the world,
and that justice can only be achieved through sharing.We await the response of all men and women of goodwill in this, our world. •
