What is happening...we are calling for safehaven ....do we not need to call for safe haven on both sides?

My heart is truly broken for all of us. How can we be so stupid to carry on shooting our selves in the foot. Are we fooling ourselves that we are not being shot at!!!

Do we not listen to the dog that barks the loudest!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF THERE WERE NOT WEAPONS IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE THERE WOULD NOT BE A WAR. THERE ARE WEAPONS AND WE DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY.

How can we call for protection for one side and not the other.

The world press has pictures that break our heart coming out from Gaza and rightly so. Do we not have the right to protect ourselves?

Hello to you all my Non- Israeli friends.


I'm writing you this mail since we NEED YOUR HELP.When i write we, I mean ISRAEL.
You are probably seeing the pictures coming out from Gaza this past few days.
Please understand that these pictures will probably not stop soon,most importantly, please understand why.
There are cities in Israel. NOT in Gaza. NOT in any area that the Palestinians WANT. NOT anywhere there is an argument that IN ISRAEL, that are being bombard.Yes, it's hard to believe, but there are missiles, and bombs coming out of the sky, falling in our cities. killing our kids. our sisters. our mothers.

I want you to ask yourselves what would you want your government to do if a missile would fall 30 feet from your house. From your home!
Well that exactly happened to me! I tell you it's no fun. so what would you do if you where me? Would you not want the government to protect you?? Well there is a saying, that the best defense is a good offense, and that's exactly what we are doingPlease understand that that's ALL we are doing. WE DON'T WANT TO KILL ANYBODY. We actually don't care what's going on in Gaza. as long as they don't bomb our houses...
Please understand one more thing, the equation for this war is simple... you fire missiles on us,.. we fire missiles on you. IN THAT ORDER. when they stop,
we will stop. I assure you that. and you might say "well you stop first". we have tried that so many times... the problem is, that they, Hamas, is not interested in stopping... so we MUST stop them. we simply have no other choice.
We need one thing that we don't always have to win this war. we need the world public opinion on our side, this is where YOU come in.Isaid we NEED YOUR HELP.I meant, that from knowing you all, I believe that you are already on our side. but i want to ask you to talk to your friends. talk to people, and convince them that we are the good guys in this story. Put US on the agenda! not them! make people remember that they are attaching schools... we are attaching command posts... they are firing at kids. we are firing at terrorists.
a little anecdote: Before a house that stores missiles is being attached, the Israel Defense Force (our army) calls the house on the phone with a simple message:"the house is going down. get out".
Funny... they are trying to aim at the hospital in Ashkelon. we warn them before we strike...

please be on our side.
please help us.
please spread the word that we are the good guys.
please give us the ability to win this defensive offense.

This is a letter from a student that is studying in the South. Must I be quiet and not show the picture from both sides of the fence. Must we take full blame for the inhuman situation.

Are we mad!

We are all people and deserve protection. We are all people!

We are off-spring of the same species ...why are we fighting each other. When will we understand the right for human dignity for both sides.

We want peace ...real peace...we could be wonderful together ...

Together we could make this place bloom. If we destroy each other neither side stands to gain anything!

Those that are leading us into the war need to be stopped...we are pawns in a game of power and control. The power is being used on us and we are like sheep being led to the slaughter. And those leading are hording the prize ...CONTROL.
