I am hell of curious about your stories about Germany. Is it just too full of clichees or prejudices? Or did you really experienced pretty fantastic things?!

I am with most of my heart German and I love a couple of places here.

For instance my new home Hamburg. It is such a beautiful town with a lot of life and culture and worldly human spirit.

This is just a look out of my window but I love it here to be. It is a good place to be with a lot of funny strange people with a lot of heart.

I am curious to read some stories and I will of course share with you some stories. Just to tell you how Germany is really like.

Just wonderful.....vunderbar (sp???) just great!
I once went out with a boy in Los Angeles, he was German. He wore the lederhosen and took me to a pub where he danced German dances. When I think of it now, it is quite funny...
Dear DK
unfortunately, this man had to go by "rules". He could not ignore them.
There are ways of doing things, not all people are sensitive to the best ways.
I, personally lost a baby (in the beginning months) and had to have an abortion.
The female doctor came to see me afterwards and said, really, if you can believe this: "Well, it's dead!"
If you don't think that THIS stayed with me for years! What a sensitive way to say things, right?
Not everyone has sensitivity. Not everyone knows the nicest way to talk, act, treat others. And then, we sensitive ones have to put up with it...and it can stay with us all of our life.
This man probably has his own big problems. He wasn't brought up with enough love and kindness. He is not right, but he was following hospital rules. You could fight against them, you could have petitions written...I know you know what you can do.
And you can learn to not be like him. And tell his story. It may help you, but you must try to see it from his viewpoint....like I had to see the female doctor who said that to me....she was unable to have children, maybe, working as a gynecologist, it was hard for her to take.
Anyhow, sorry about it DK. Life is cruel isn't it.
DK
could he be reported, if he didn't do his correct job?
There is so much that isn't done correctly...not only physically is it painful but psychologically it is painful too, isn't it.
Such a shame, and the truth that things, places even people don't work right. And others have to deal with their faults. It is just what life is about. There will always be the problems, the fighters who lose their causes, and we sit and think...why can't things work!
Anyhow, DK, your story, as all your stories hit me....you words and you work is valuable. And that is maybe the good that comes out of any bad things or stories that you tell. Perhaps in every action there is something good that comes out of it. As sad as it may seem, but maybe it is true.
Thanks Irena....actually I lost two babies...but then, was determined to have them even moreso and had two lovely girls! Later in life than I had expected, but I had them!
yes, DK I just listened to Pothead and like them too! Thanks for posting...tomorro will have to listen to the other videos but I do like this one.
Good idea to post the music you like, good going!
...gee DK...not very many times...only 215??
