PS the page Steph left a link on is my account on Facebook, under the same name, and all from iPeace are welcome to send a friends request to me there too.
When it comes to peace, I may not always be there, even when I am needed, but, I never give up on peace. All things in time..........

It has been a long time since I have been here.
When things changed and changed again, I could not log on here....
I tried to reset my password but it would not do so, I tried again and again then I gave up.
It has been around a year since I made a post here.
While it may not be much of a story, it is perhaps a start of restarting.....
I have missed iPeace, since last I tried I could not even come here to view without logging on, this time I was able to follow a link on my page Stephine posted so I tried again and was able to finally view iPeace as well as log onto my account (yet to go to my page and those huge numbers of people with friends request if you hang in there, I'll try and get around to it!)
Peace to the peace keepers, I love you all,
The Thunderchild.

coming to this place is so terribly lonely to me....
I, a non group person, loved this story group
good to see you here Shells....feels less lonely. But this place is no longer what it was (right, Myron). Too much time and effort and love and hope went into it....that part of me is numb now. I won't get involved, I can't. It won't last, and there is nothing to look forward to.
I put my joy and fun into my art. I have a show now, filled with lots of fun things...but iPeace, it is on its way out....
So, here I am just curiously saying hi...
feel badly to say what I did, but this was my lovely beloved group...
and it hurts to see this place so lonely.
We did what we could, but it didn't work. When only one person is in charge, it is too risky....that is what it boils down to.
I'll be back again, but not like it was...
love to my old friends here

Steph

I just finished writing a letter to each of my 5 sisters about this topic. Actually, it was more about the moral of the story... Your words must have magically touched my pen for I wrote about how we each have gifts to carry..an ahhha moment for me. I wrote about how when we were born, God gave us a gift so precious and that it would last forever. As long as we use it at any given time, this world and everyone near us would be fine. This gift is L O V E and with it comes forgiveness. Everything that passes my way I bless it as love. No matter what it is or how heavy the load becomes, Love is always there blessing me. Even when I am too tired to carry loves gifts, and I put love aside, it is always there waiting for me when I pick myself up again, - love goes for another wonderful ride.

This is the only moment I have and I choose to live it with love.

Thank you for your story. It's so true about how the written word comes together at the end or beginning turning the woes into L O V E...

The China Farmer

Once upon a time, there was a farmer in the central region of China. He didn't have a lot of money and, instead of a tractor, he used an old horse to plow his field.

One afternoon, while working in the field, the horse dropped dead. Everyone in the village said, "Oh, what a horrible thing to happen." The farmer said simply, "We'll see." He was so at peace and so calm, that everyone in the village got together and, admiring his attitude, gave him a new horse as a gift.

Everyone's reaction now was, "What a lucky man." And the farmer said, "We'll see."

A couple days later, the new horse jumped a fence and ran away. Everyone in the village shook their heads and said, "What a poor fellow!"

The farmer smiled and said, "We'll see."

Eventually, the horse found his way home, and everyone again said, "What a fortunate man."

The farmer said, "We'll see."

Later in the year, the farmer's young boy went out riding on the horse and fell and broke his leg. Everyone in the village said, "What a shame for the poor boy."

The farmer said, "We'll see."

Two days later, the army came into the village to draft new recruits. When they saw that the farmer's son had a broken leg, they decided not to recruit him.

Everyone said, "What a fortunate young man."

The farmer smiled again - and said "We'll see."

Moral of the story:

There's no use in overreacting to the events and circumstances of our everyday lives. Many times what looks like a setback, may actually be a gift in disguise. And when our hearts are in the right place, all events and circumstances are gifts that we can learn valuable lessons from.

As Fra Giovanni once said:

"Everything we call a trial, a sorrow, or a duty, believe me... the gift is there and the wonder of an overshadowing presence."
