Wrapp your body in deliciouslywarm Mangrove Mud, an organic mud
containing thousands of plant extracts and trace elements. While
enveloped in this frothy, effective Bahian-mangrove mud, you can feel
a release of tension & stress from your body. After the bath, shower
in warm water without using soap or shampoo and wrap yourself in the
blanket and relax for 20 to 30 minutes. This time is used to allow
natural moisture treatment to stay active on the skin. or Followed by
a refreshing shower & soothing body conditioner.

Mud is one of the elements of nature that has both healing and
beautifying impact on the body and to detox the body and soften and
firm the skin.

Comandatuba Ocean Course

Web site: http://www.transamerica.com.br

From Salvador, Comandatuba is just a 30-minute flight, then just a
10-minute drive from the airport, which is privately owned by the
Transamerica Hotel that dominates the island. Ilha de Comandatuba
Transamerica Hotel presents the Comandatuba Ocean Course. And
eighteen-hole golf course built by one of the best architects of the
United States, Dan Blankenship, where "listening to nature" was his
philosophy to carry out this project.

Five holes in direct contact with the beach create a dazzling
scenario. During its construction, all the vegetation around the
course was kept untouched. It consists of palm trees, coconut trees,
cactuses, the typical vegetation from the Brazilian northeast salt
marshes.

The local fauna is very rich consisting of kinkajous (juparás), foxes,
monkeys and different colored and sized birds that appear while one
strolls through the golf course. Four starting tees at each hole allow
an agreable and challeging game for all classes of golfers.

The basic architectural features of this field are the presence of
extensive sand tracks, waste bunkers, along the sides of generous
fairways. Twelve ponds, located next to nine holes complete this
challenging and gorgeous golf course, certainly one of the most
beautiful in the world.

In 2003 it has been rated by the Golf Digest International Magazine as
the best Brazilian golf course. Due to the fact that this course is
located inside the area of the complete Transamérica Ilha de
Comandatuba Resort, one of the best resorts in South America, the
leisure of the golf players and his/her family are guaranteed.

Comandatuba Ocean Course offers driving range, putting green, pitching
green, snack bar, restaurant, golf carts, hotel accommodation,
pro-shop and equipments for hire. It has 18 holes, par 72 and 6928
yards. It is open from 7h00 till 19h00 mondays through sundays.
The average temperature is 28oC and the golf course is on the sea level.

Southern coast of Bahia state is known as the Cacao Coast

Located in southern Bahia, the Cocoa Coast encompasses the
municipalities of Itacaré, Ilhéus, Una and Canavieiras all of which
preserve veritable ecological sanctuaries. Dozens of kilometers of
nearly deserted beaches with dense coconut groves share the coastline
with a lush variety of vegetation from native coastal rainforest to
vast mangroves and magnificent cacao plantations, some of which have
been used as settings for films and soap operas. A hike on the trails
and along the coves in Itacaré, a horseback ride along the seashore, a
boat trip through the Ilhéus delta or to the place where the Pardo
River meets the sea, a mineral-bath at Olivença Mineral Springs, a
visit to the Golden Lion Tamarin reserve, or a much needed
revitalization in the mineral-rich monazitic sands of Canavieiras, are
just a few of the options available in the area.
Tourism along the Cocoa Coast is developing rapidly, with investments
by Brazilian and international businesspeople, mostly French and
Swiss, spurred on by tax incentives granted by municipal governments
to those who invest in this sector. In the last few years, the growth
of quality services and infrastructure has kept pace with demand
during the high season - between November and February - and the area
now has approximately 7,000 beds, with the Comandatuba Island
Transamerica Hotel, the largest resort in South America, leading the
way.

People with color of cinnamon

- A fun-loving people, with smiles on their faces, a swing in their
hips and samba in their feet!

- Sit by the shore and hear the old folk recall the past.

- Take part in a round of capoeira, watch the Afro-Brazilian
religious rite of "candoblé", eat a spicy acarajé cake, and above all,
live the magic that is bahia.

- The holiday season lasts all year in Bahia, unlike most other
holiday regions. This means that you can use your holiday home all
year round - at Christmas, in the spring, in summer or in autumn. Or
you could even spend two or three months a year of your early
retirement here. And being able to rent out your property all year
round also offers opportunities for excellent earnings and good rates
of return.

I've seen a documentary about Kerala on UK TV GOPI, it's a very beautiful place. They said that is was the 'farm', the place where lots of things are grown, of India.
