Hi I just found this group by the link on Cristina's page (I like that icon!)
Umm, I have a group going called Paradise on earth and I have a member who I invited to add content to it regarding alternative energy, but I think it would be better if I could work with this group and have him add his content here and then link to this group.
Duke? Would you mind this?
I dont want to distract from other groups, I'd rather we join forces!

I am 50 yrs old, I have only lived "on the grid" somewhere between 5 and 7 years of my adult life.
I refused to drive a car, used wolf sled dog team most of my life, and now have a horse.

I make my own power using wind and solar. During the 70's I thought the world woke up and was going to change, it did not. So I did.
I am part of this world, and accept it as my personal responsibility as a human, to change and did so, but my life was destroyed by those trying to prove it would not work.
They were to late, I already proved it would but that did not stop them. So I am basically homeless and on $200 USD a month income, and I am rebuilding Paradise.
Figuring... if "I" can do so in my situation, how hard is it then for others to do so if they are in better situations?
If you dedicate HOW you live, to protect all life on earth, all life on earth has a tendency to know this truth as self evident because you are no longer "cut off from it" by telling ourselves the earth is separate from us, and its okay to do what we know is destroying it (driving gas powered cars, coal and nuclear energy etc), as if pretending, makes it okay.
Doing so, removes motive to change.
I kept my motivation, and felt the pain I was causing this earth, and used that, to bring me to change how I live, so I can live in Peace with the truth of how I live here.
This is a recycled laptop running on solar and wind power. I've been powering computers with sun and wind, over 35 years, waiting, for the creation of the world wide web.

I wrote programs in my tipi, for an invention that I knew was coming, and am translating them into the languages used.
Once done, I begin work for other programs written for other inventions, that are not here yet.

I've lived more with wolves than humans, I would like to share some of their wisdom with this group.

You can not get ahead of the herd, if your following it.
Don't wait for the future, BE the future.

and again, Duke, please let me know if okay to do as I propose, that I may help this group to grow in its purpose, and thus refine the one I've started so it is more focused on its objective rather than the many parts, which may come together there.

And, if anyone wants to know....
Can we live in peace on this earth with all life here, with clean energy and have MORE as a direct result instead of LESS?
I lived the proof of that, the answer is a definitive YES!

I have and will continue to make positive changes in my life to decrease my use of carbon fuels. Always open to new ideas and ways to decrease may carbon footprint. God Bless our planet,
