GENERAL  PLANETARY INFLUENCES 16-22.1.2012

The Sun is now in it’s last phase of careful, dutiful, responsible, pessimistic Capricorn, with a conscientious approach, a need for acknowledgement, & some droll moments.  The Moon starts the week in charismatic, harmonious, peaceful Libra.  Tuesday it moves in determined, jealous, strong-willed, Scorpio.  Thursday it moves into broadminded, optimistic Sagittarius.  Sunday it moves again into aloof, pessimistic, responsible & realistic Capricorn.  Mercury has now moved into practical, rational Capricorn, giving a logical approach to situations & people.  Venus is now in emotional, vulnerable, and responsive Pisces, & can make us more sensitive.  Mars remains in detailed, hard-working, practical Virgo, where it’s been for quite a while, with occasional shyness, or problems taking the initiative.  The generation planets all begin the year in the same signs for some time, Jupiter starts the year in Taurus, generous, sensible, humorous Taurus, with a love of life, & creature comforts, and acquiring bargains.  Saturn remains in courteous, fair-minded, pleasant, but serious Libra, giving flexibility. Uranus remains in energetic, courageous, self-willed, proud Aries, with rebelliousness, or disruptions from our usual routine.  Neptune remains in humanitarian, idealistic, independent Aquarius, with a need for balance.  Pluto remains in Capricorn for the foreseeable future, showing knowledge gradually acquired on deeper levels, & realistic ways of recycling practically.  Planetary aspects this week:- Sun & Uranus sextile from 21.1.12 – Tendencies to be quite outspoken. Sun & Jupiter square from 21.1.12 – A need for moderation in some situations.  Sun & Saturn square – Possible setbacks to overcome in order to achieve success. Your professional goals & ambitions are top priority at present, & you’re keen to progress.  You might enjoy working privately on a creative project, especially if work seems like a treadmill at times.  Managing your finances positively can be very effective, especially if your partner is supportive.  You may feel a need to just do your own thing & enjoy seeing like-minded friends.

You’re currently focusing on your work, taking a practical approach, but beware health problems.  You can become overly emotional with a partner, but overall manage money & budget well.  You do well in business, as success is very important to you, but might not want to discuss your plans.  You need mental stimulus, but are broad-minded, & may seem a bit distracted with a partner.
