Ito, you seem to be geneticly programmed for good cooking after your Italian father... ;-)) In Poland many men can cook to, and it's quite normal. I think that REAL MAN should cook something except scrambled eggs ... ;-)

All that food looks so yummmmy!... I'm going hungry ... Ito, are you a professional cook? Or cooking is your hobby? Can you cook everything? ... ;-))

Oh,
while I was unemployed and lived in squats, I suited one of the groups that Cirque de Soleil had for homeless people...
it meant I could go for free two hours two times a week and practice circus.
They had equipment there, usually with younger children (I was twenty).
Because I'd done gymnastics and yoga, I was mainly doing acrobatics. We had two paid performances, before things happened with me and I was forced to stop.

It was very unlucky, but things sort of fell apart anyway.

I was interviewed for a news paper with my two acro-mates, we were asked if we wanted to be professional circus artists one day. I thought that was a bit far fetced, because I was travelling with my boyfriend around Europe and had no security at all...so my answer was that I was as involved with other artistic projects as well.

The two boys, or men were like children, they just nodded yes, yes (their English was very bad)...I mentioned "by the way" when one of them said something about that we eat lunch together, something about them being yummy, and that was what she then wrote about me...the article was cut out at the school and put up on a board...I felt so betrayed.

She said that "Erika only comes here for the food", sort of.
They were Dutch, I did not understand all that were said. But I was so poor that I was truly greatful that we were allowed to eat sandwiches in our break...but i enjoyed circus practising more - One of my collegues seemed to be falling in love with me and my boyfriend became very possessive and so I got pregnant, and he didn't want to keep the child.
After the abortion at an abortion clinic there, which involved two weeks of "waiting", and during it...I totally lost my self respect or how should I say. I went back once and that, but...
sad, really. I had something

I bought a box of fresh dates in the local store. Unfortunately, at the bottom, there were eggs from insects...imagine they travel all the way from Algeria or something! Maybe that means they were ecological, too -?
