I am so happy to find this group! I have carried a copy of The Declaration with me for years. I recently found that ne of my favorite American progressive writers of the previous generation, Tillie Olsen did the same. I am amazed by how few people in the US know of the existence of this document. The US signed it ,and that, in my understanding binds us to the e articles. But then again we have had a government that openly says it does not have to honor International Law.
I am hoping some one here can help me. I will have my 60th birthday on Jan.31 2009. I would like to hand out as many copies of The Declaration as possible during the month of Jan. to celebrate.My resources are very limited. So if anyone knows where I can get bulk copies cheaply please let me know. English and Spanish are the two primary languages I need, but living in California, various Asian lanuages would also be useful. Leave me a messagee or write to chenae@aol.com
