Last November,the Dalai Lama called together tibetans from all over the World for a Historic Discussion about Tibets Future.Although the Special Meeting closed with strong endorsement of the "Middle Way Approach",- Tibetans overwhelmingly Voted to Support the continued drive for Autonomy,- Participants also stated that Exiled Tibetans might promote OUTRIGHT INDEPENDENCE for Tibet if results of Engagement with China were not evident soon.,.......; What We can take away from this is Clear:_,....... Our Role as Allies to the Tibetan People is Even More Critical NOW,and Our Support of Our Working TOGETHER is Essential!! Tibet needs Her Friends NOW!! With Our Working together on this,We will be able to Implement an Action Plan to IInfluence these 5 important areas on behalf of Tibetans:,.....1. We must Work closely with the Obama Administration to make fresh Headway on this Issue. 2. We must Encourage International Cooperation,attention,and Advocacy for Tibet. 3. We must DEMAND and Secure the release of Tibets Political Prisoners. 4.We must ensure Safe Passage and Humanitarian Assistance for Tibetan Refugees. and 5.
