Khadi

It was Khadi the traditional cloth of hand spun and hand woven was made weapon by Gandhi to fight Imperial forces and ensuring income for poor. Attached document gives idea about it.

Dear GKG,

Your presentation on Khadi is simply superb and is an excellent work on manual process of khadi in good olden days. I had an exposure to spinning and weaving decades ago using modern technologies and machineries and upon seeing this presentation, it kindles the memory of the past.

Revival was because of Gandhi. Today it is a Government promoted program. I was associated with this movement since last 25 years.
