Trying to work for peace in Palestine-Israel seems an uphill life-long challenge....
... only very few peace-loving people take the pain to search for more comprehensive information to know about The NAKBA, the collective Palestinian trauma that is continueing until today.
But I just read about an Israeli initiative ZOCHROT that seems important and promissing:
In the attached article from that website Norma Musih wrote:
"Learning the Nakba is an important step for Jews living in Israel. It often reflects a genuine interest to know and understand. But learning is not enough. The Nakba is not the story of another people that took place somewhere else — it is a story that we, as Israeli Jews, are responsible for. Learning, without taking responsibility, is to me not enough."
