John Lennon and Yoko Ono used their honeymoon at the Amsterdam Hilton, in March 1969, as a "Bed-in for Peace" that attracted world-wide media coverage. At the second "Bed-in" in Montreal, in June 1969, they recorded "Give Peace a Chance" in their hotel room. The song was sung by over half a million demonstrators in Washington, D.C. at the second Vietnam Moratorium Day, on 15 October 1969.

I remember saying this is a new Lennon song, and the guy I was working with said his dead. But the DJ when over said it had just been released. It was close to watching the wheels. It just skips my mind.
