Publishes a Book!

Kids for Peace children all around the world have shared what peace means to them in this beautifully illustrated keepsake. Each page is full of love, hope and inspiration. The books are perfect for gift giving, bedtime stories, classroom discussions or tabletop displays.

Books are $19.95 plus tax and shipping. All proceeds go to support the ongoing work of Kids for Peace.

We are a group of passionate moms, dads, teachers, students, children and friends who are on a mission to promote peace. We believe that the essence of peace is innate and through our group activities and chapters, we can make a difference in the world.

Kids for Peace Pledge
-- I pledge to use my words to speak in a kind way.
-- I pledge to help others as I go throughout my day.
-- I pledge to care for our earth with my healing heart and hands.
-- I pledge to respect people in each and every land.
-- I pledge to join together as we unite the big and small.
-- I pledge to do my part to create peace for one and all.

We learn about other cultures.
We learn about lifestyles, languages and traditions of people around the world. We identify common bonds and we celebrate diversity.

We reach out to the children we learn about.
We send Peace-Packs to children around the world. Peace-Packs are hand-painted knapsacks filled with school supplies, toiletries, a toy and a personal note of friendship. All Peace-Packs are hand delivered to the receiving children. This is our primary service project.

We practice being peace-makers.
We have monthly meetings where we play cooperative games, role-play positive communication, learn to seek peaceful solutions to conflicts, read peace-filled books, perform monthly Peace Challenges, and have FUN!!!

We are civically active.
We write and speak to our elected officials. We learn that we have a voice and it is our right and responsibility to use it in a positive and affirming way.

We are involved in our community.
We participate in food and clothing drives, beach clean-ups, senior center visits, Veteran's Day celebrations, and other local events.

We create peace through the arts.
We use our creativity as we paint pictures, write books, make peace-flags, sing songs, and use our imaginations in expressing our peaceful nature.

We care for our earth.
We participate in conservation, ecology, recycling, clean-ups, graffitti removal, etc. Even our t-shirts are organic!

We believe in peace!
We believe in respect, unity, gratitude and kindness. We believe we make a difference in our world. We believe peace is possible!
