Once a soldier cried out for peace
His voice was little and he felt weak
Go to fight communism they said
His bunk mate took a bullet in his head
All around the area in Vietnam they patrolled
For months they did what they were told
Heads and bodies once vibrant and strong
Were dead , bent or broken in throngs
257 in company E
21 left for all to see
Home and confused that nothing was done
My people treated me like scum
For the destruction of villages of women and children
Ashamed I went hidden and never looked up again
There is no answer to an old man's war
Stay home make peace and try some more
finally today my son joined the Peace Corp
He will try to rectify my sins
His love and my peace are finally a win!
The work I do today in no way pays
But I try to atone and will the rest of my days
As I hear poverty sticken children play
My head is finally raised!!

Now you imagine if everybody will give their hands together and sing this along...
If everyone is happy?
Do you think there will be any war?
perhaps I can chenge it.
I do have a Master called Osho, his idea is
that if everybody is dancing and singing, who will desire to create the third world war.
Why to bother if I am saying the fact or not?
There were around 5000 wars on Earth in 3000 years!
WE'LL NOT GONNA FIGHT AGAIN...
WE'RE NOT GOING TO FIGHT AGAIN
I WILL DO NO WAR AGAIN
WE WILL NEVER FIGHT AGAIN
whatsoever we do... we sing... we love...
love

I understand you Devi. But in the tarot cards I have a statement from Osho that the fool is one that you befool him, and trusts you. You befool him again, and he continues to trust... all the time.
I also read this story of the wise old man sayiong that don't judge.
Most complicated is when you have to say, "what a disgrace" to something, for instance about bombings, and the wise person will answer: don't say it is a disgrace, just say that there was a bombing.
I also read from Miki (hi Miki...) staring at her is unbeliavable she lost something, such a smile, hides such a comprehension.
I also have an emphaty with David here down below.
And I also remember what I felt when I was alone in germany and those planes were thown unto the World trade Center.
I had a total loss of orientation, almost riding a bike through Cologne without purpose or where to go.
I just remembered of my lawyer , a brazilian woman.
And went to them there.
For days it was simply horrible.
Even to write things down here is hard, the mind nearly does not work...
I just really remember, if around the world we will give our hads together, to create rays of happines, warmth and love, understanding and fortunate feelings of freedom-and-responsability, there will be no war.
I pray with you for that.
perhaps a new song will arise. who knows?
Love for you all.
TAZA (taza means fresh in hindi).

The loss of my step daughter in the London Bombings of 2005 has been a major reason for my becoming so involved within the peace movement. Although a life-long pacifist it was that event that underlined the total futility of violence and the extraordinary waste that occurs every time violence is practiced as a way of furthering any cause. Inevitably the cause does not benefit from this approach but rather is diminished.

My step-daughter held certain life values that I only fully became aware of after her death. I see my life as dedicated to the causes that I now know she held dear...including the love and acceptance of all people regardless of all the man-made barriers that have been erected to separate us. I have come to embrace both inter-faith and non-violence as ways of life as the only way in which we can reach out the hand of friendship and trust to each other and build a better world.
