I just thought i'd open this group up by telling my childrens birth stories.

Bhavadiwali was born on a beautiful cool spring morning just before the sun rose. She was born at home by the fire after a short 6 hours of labour. Her grandmother was their to catch her while her dad and three young aunties (aged 10, 9 and 7) and one big aunty, watched with awe and love in their hearts. Her arrival was full of bliss, love and healing. What an honor to be a part of such a peaceful welcoming.

Jayanta was born at home on a hot summer evening, not long after the sun disapeared over the mountain. He rushed into the world without hesitation after a speedy 3 hours of labour. His dad caught him as he dropped from my womb (i was standing) and he quickly nuzzled in to find milk. His sister was waiting to watch his arrival and ever so gently welcomed him. His grandmother and aunty watched joyfully and his cousin yet to be born stirred in her mothers womb.
