The Pillow by Paris Tompkins

I touch your picture on the pillow where your head will lay
And think of the time to come that will bring about the day
When there will be no need for dreams and my imagination can play
To give me words and moans of love and you will hear me say

Oh Baby, Baby, love me long and love me oh so good
Love me like I always knew that your hot loving would
Make me moan and make me shout and wash away control
So I’ll know that there’s no doubt that I fulfill the role

Of the one you need
The one who heeds
Your call of lust at night
And brings you to the point of love
That makes you feel alright

I need you here beside me now so hear me when I say
The picture cannot take the place of where your head should lay

Only love builds

I wish you peace of air passing
Of the waves breaking on the calm sea

The peaceful transition to the ground with their feet
I wish you sunshine, the brightness of the stars
The morning

I wish a world made for you.
A world without war, without violence, without fear
A world full of certainty

My poet's heart
feel your pain
His fear,
To speak of peace in wartime
Talking about love in difficult times

Speaking of hope ---
Peace is in the heart of man
Only he can change the world

De las olas rompiendo en el mar en calma
La transición pacífica a la tierra con los pies

Me gustaría que el sol, el brillo de las estrellas
A la mañana

Deseo un mundo hecho para ti.

Un mundo sin guerra, sin violencia, sin miedo
Un mundo lleno de seguridad

Mi corazón de poeta
sentir su dolor
Su temor,
Para hablar de la paz en tiempos de guerra

Hablar de amor en tiempos difíciles
Hablando de la esperanza ---

La paz está en el corazón del hombre
Sólo él puede cambiar el mundo
