All Along
As I sit here at my desk,
wondering what to write,
searching deep inside myself,
wondering if I'll get it right,
Knowing that I had done my best,
blundering in my life,
Every little task or quest,
everything in my sight,
So I sit here at this desk,
wondering what to write...

What I wanted all along
to have a place where I belong,
a place to love and call my home,
to write my songs and write my poems,
it may take me through the night,
but will I ever get it right?

To find that rhythem,to find that goal,
within my words found in my soul,
it might take me all night long,
I hope the answers are in my song,
I hope you see the one true me,
and hope my words will set you free...

What I wanted all along
to have a place where I belong,
a place to love and call my home,
to write my songs and write my poems,
it may take me through the night,
but will I ever get it right?

Calm your worries and ease those fears,
Life is precious wipe those tears,
after all we're just human beings,
everything else, just matieral things,
One day at a time is all we get,
Walk on the shores, get your feet wet,
that's just the way life goes,
so take the time to enjoy a rose...

As long as the stars are blinking above,
I'll give to you my strength and my love,

Metaphore of Me

Upon the path that I chose,
so many questions had arose,
About my Love and of my Life,
Will God above send me a Wife?
Will our world ever see Peace?
I questioned my Soul and my beliefs,
What in this world will become of me,
and when I pass on will I be set free?
Free from the chains that had burdened me,
Free of the pains of how I came to be the man I now see?
Upon the path that I chose,
so many questions had arose,
The anwser was there right under my nose,
So I searched my soul right down to my toes
I had to expose into the air,each and every layer upon layer,
Scattered were the answers in the questions everywhere...
Too much pain my mind was getting hot,
was it all in vain,so I stressed alot,
Some how, I just had to connect the dots,
awoke in a cold sweat,alone in my cott,
Then the answer became clear to me,
it lifted my burden and set my soul free,
Live life to the Fullest,be all you can be,
Do the best you can with what you can see,
Forget the past because it won't last,and just be Happy...

My Porcelain Unicorn

Once new and Clean,shiney and white,
My Porcelain Unicorn kept my dreams safe at night,
Keeping me safe,keeping me warm,
Keeping all my dreams free from harm,
Even if the times were bad,
Even when sometimes were sad,
A gift from my Granny to her lonely lad,
It'll hold onto your dreams,said my ol' GrandDad,
Then the cracks began to form,
and began to age my unicorn,
Little chips,here and there,
Every time we moved somewhere,
Another crack in it's magic horn,
and no more dreams for this unicorn,
No longer new,shiney or white,
I no longer remember sweet dreams at night,
Another little chip,Another little crack,
Nightmares of the past kept coming back,
All my Hard Work,My Life gone in a blink,
What else could I have done,I just had to think,
I did all that I could,I'm now old and worn,
and all I've got left,is my Porcelain Unicorn...

MERRY CHRISTMAS

From the Celts we have the ancient tradition of “I am” poetry. These poems were never intended as mere ego inflations, but more of establishing identity-connections, of relationships. In line with this tradition, today I have written:

THE WIND OF ANDREA BOCELLI

I am as sweet as the wind of Andrea Bocelli
I am as deep as the bottomless miracle of Shakespeare
as solid with sublime beauty as stones of Michelangelo
as full as the Tao of Beethoven with power to wed
the symphonic stars of heaven with choral trees of earth

I am as small as the mustard seed of Jesus
a parable containing the complexity of Bach
as humble as the bird-prayers of Saint Francis
as holy as the dancing laughter of wise and wandering Baal Shem Tov
I am as righteous with visions as prophets Isaiah, Black Elk and Einstein
as big with mandala-dreaming as Blake and Jung

I am animal, angel and human
and I am as sweet
as the wind
of Andrea Bocelli.
