♥RUMI♥ ♥Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Balkhī (Persian: جلالالدین محمد بلخى)... Also known...
As Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī (Persian: جلالالدین محمد رومی)... And popularly known as Mowlānā (Persian: مولانا)... But known to the English-speaking world simply as Rumi (30 September 1207 –December 1273), was a 13th-century Persian (Takik)) Muslin... Poet... Jurist... Theologian... And Sufi Mystic....
Rúmi is a descriptive name meaning "the Roman" since he lived most of his life
in an area called Rúm because it was once ruled by the Eastern Roman Empire...
♥Rumi's works... Are written in the New Persian Language... A Persian literary renaissance (in the 8th/9th century) started in regions of Sistan... Khorãsãn...
And Transoxiana... And by the 10th/11th century... It reinforced the Persian language as the preferred literary... And cultural language in the Persian Islamic world... Rumi's importance is considered to transcend national and ethnic borders.
♥His original works are widely read in their original language across the Persian-speaking world. Translations of his works are very popular in other countries. His poetry has influenced Persian literature as well as Urdu... Punjabi...
And other Pakistani languages... Written in Perso/Arabic script e.g. Pashto and Sindhi... His poems have been widely translated into many of the world's languages and transposed into various formats. In 2007, he was described as the "most popular poet in America."
♥ His major contribution lies in Islamic philosophy... And Tasawwuf was a great poet... And became well known especially for its famous Mathnawi... This book is the greatest mystical exposition in verse, discusses and offers solutions to many complicated problems in... Metaphysics... Religion... Ethics... Mysticism... etc... Fundamentally... The Mathnawi highlights the various aspects of Sufism... And
their relationship with the worldly life...
♥ For this... Rumi draws on a variety of subjects and derives numerous examples from everyday life... His main subject is the relationship between man and God...
He apparently believed in Pantheism... And portrayed the various stages of evolution of man in his journey towards the end...
♥ Apart from the Mathnaui... He also wrote his Diwan (collection of poems) and Fihi-Ma-Fih (a collection of mystical sayings)... However... That is the Mathnawi largely transmitted Rumi's message... Soon after its completion... Other scholars began his detailed commentaries on the writings of his... To interpret their bids that were rich in Tasawwuf... Metaphysics... And Ethics... Several comments...
In different languages have been written since then...
♥ His impact on Philosophy... Literature... Mysticism... And culture... Has been...
So deep throughout Central Asia... And Islamic countries... That almost all religious scholars... Mystics... Philosophers... Sociologists and others...
Reflected on his verses for many centuries... Most difficult problems in these areas seem to be simplified over the light of his references... His message inspired...
Most of the intellectuals of Central Asia...
♥Rumi believed passionately in the use of music... Poetry... And dance as a path for reaching God... For Rumi, music helped devotees to focus their whole being on the divine... And to do this so intensely that the soul was both destroyed and resurrected... It was from these ideas that the practice of "whirling" dervishes developed into a ritual form...
♥His teachings became the base for the order of the Mawlawi which his son Sultan Walad organized... Rumi encouraged sama... Listening to music and turning or doing the sacred dance... In the Mevlevi tradition... Sama represents a mystical journey of spiritual ascent through mind and love to the Perfect One...
♥ In this journey... The seeker symbolically turns towards the truth... Grows through love... Abandons the ego... Finds the truth... And arrives at the Perfect... The seeker then returns from this spiritual journey... With greater maturity...
To love and to be of service to the whole of creation without discrimination...
With regard to beliefs... Races... Classes... And nations...

♥Some poems♥

♥This is love♥
♥To fly toward a secret Sky...
To cause a hundred veils to fall each moment...
First... To let go of life...
In the end... to take a step without feet...
To regard this world as invisible...
And to disregard what appears to be the self...

♥Heart, I said, what a gift it has been...
To enter this circle of lovers...
To see beyond seeing itself...
To reach and feel within the breast...

♥Say I am You... I am dust particles in sunlight...
I am the round sun... To the bits of dust I say... Stay...
To the Sun... Keep moving... I am morning mist...
And the breathing of evening... I am wind in the top of a grove...
And surf on the Cliff... Mast... Rudder... Helmsman... And keel...
I am also the coral... Reef they founder on...
I am a tree with a trained parrot... In its branches...
♥Silence... Thought... And voice... The musical air coming through...
A flute... A spark of Stone... A flickering in metal...
Both candle and the moth crazy around it...
Rose... And the nightingale lost... In the fragrance...
♥I am all orders of being... The circling galaxy...
The evolutionary intelligence... The lift... And the falling away...
What is, and what isn't... You who know, Jelaluddin...
You the one in all, say who I am... Say I am you...
