The Beatles & Stones were the rage
Marched for peace sung on stage
Back from Nam to see how to change
Building a company seemed so strange

Prayed for Martin more then once
There was never going to be a free lunch
Lost my hero's gunned down in blazes
Lost my brain in woodstock hazes

Did we accomplish at the end of the day
The Doors and drugs blew minds away.
Lost our focus and our causes
People had to die to add some clauses

40 years later were still killing children
Our young men die trying to defend
A country that has seemed to lose it's goals
Democracy works slowly don't lose your soul

Gary Thank you ! and Yes of course society begins with the individual. I am asking this question of individuals.. we all must do what we can. I know I do!! But I still sit here disapointed in the result... In no way am I quiting but I do and will have to find a better way to help. In the meantime I just feed, educate and clothe people who need it. Donate to world causes and let FREDOM RING!! That must be the ringing in my ear? Or is it the land mine that went off next to me 40 years ago?? The same damm land mines that blow apart are soldiers in Irag and Afganistan. We must have a rebuilding and educating approach to Afganiistan. Help the poeple not destroy them.Destroy the pooppy fields and plant other marketable crops and subsidize them like we do our farmers.Build propper schools roads and hospitals, if for no other reason then we have to create a world were people believe that fighting the terrorist and religeous fanatics is worth it! Taking about it to people who essentially agree isn't going to get it done.. Voting clearly isn't enough. Write congressman, Blogs March peacfully.. Never stop. I need to replace me with an army of INDIVIDUAL belivers as I will die in the next five years or sooner! That's why I'm here!!!

Thanks Gary!!!! If we are relativley free, sort of , within the laws set down that sometimes follow the bill of rights? I really don't think that's the question.. The question is as a society, Not as idividuals, do we learn?.
