Everything is based on mind, is led by mind, is fashioned by mind. If you speak and act with a polluted mind, suffering will follow you, as the wheels of the oxcart follow the footsteps of the ox. Everything is based on mind, is led by mind, is fashioned by mind. If you speak and act with a pure mind, happiness will follow you, as a shadow clings to a form. - Buddha

Its definitely in my top 5. I think it was the first time I was shown the Indian sense of humor. It was so needed when telling the story of such a tragedy.

In this film, the 'human beings' are the Cheyenne Nation. I love Chief Dan George. He looks like my real life grandfather. Its a treat watching him.

Hi sis...:):):)

Yes, the yin yang is just a symbol, but represents great wisdom in terms of how we look at things. There is some darkness in all that is light, and some light and all that is very dark. The two halves of yin/yang are not opposites, but mutually interdependent halves of the whole of life.

To me it means, not taking this view or that view of things, but simply seeing the whole picture of reality in daily life when writing, speaking etc.

hey where did you get those Chiun quotes? They're right on the money! S'peshly the silk purse one...

in one story he used down feathers as darts, because he understood the essence of the feathers. Hahaha!
