We desire that Scotland should be known for its contribution to peace
We here at the Festival of Spirituality and Peace would love it if you could clear your schedule for the FoSP Launch event which will be taking place on Sunday August the 9th at 6pm at St. John's Church, Princes Street. This will be followed by a reception where you can all discuss your highlights from the event!
The line-up is pretty impressive- special guests Hardeep Singh Kohli, performancer poet Elspeth Murray and the Ragamala dancers will be joined by St. John's Choir and concert pianist Aleksander Kudajczyk amongst others.
The Festival will be opened by Kenny MacAskill MSP, the Cabinet Secretary for Justice in the Scottish Government.
Q. What do Vincent Cable MP, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Margaret Atwood, Atta Yaqub, Abbot Christopher Jamison, Tilda Swinton, Revd Naim Ateek, Michael Morpungo, Anne Donovan, Billy Kay, Richard Holloway, Lord David Steel, Rabbi David Rose, Ragamala Dancers and Taiko Dojo Drummers all have in common?
A. They are all participating in Edinburgh's fastest growing festival!
Gonna go see Michael Franti & Spearhead at The Arches in Glasgow tonight
POWER TO THE PEACEFUL!!!

Edinburgh. City sightseeing tour including a visit to the Castle, housing the Scottish Crown Jewels and the famous Stone of Destiny, the ancient seat of the coronation of Scottish monarchs. A stroll along the medieval Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, closely associated with Scotland's turbulent past, including Mary, Queen of Scots, who lived there between 1561 and 1567. Successive kings and queens have made the Palace of Holyroodhouse the principal Royal residence in Scotland.

Scotland is famous for its whisky, haggis, bagpipes, an elusive lake monster and men who wear kilts! Taste, try, buy and search for all of the above on this 5 day getaway to Scotland. You'll travel from Edinburgh to the Highlands and back to Glasgow, see Britain's highest mountain, Edinburgh Castle,
