This is the path of peace - overcome evil with good
We Virgilia's praying for world peace
A day of peace
Peace is not merely the absence of war between the countries. Peace is to ensure that all people have housing, food, clothing, education, health, love, understanding, ie good quality of life.

Peace is caring for the environment in which we live, ensuring good quality of water, sanitation, clean air, good land use.

Peace is seeking serenity within us to live with joy the good times, strength and good ideas to address problems and resolve difficulties. All this without having to flee.

Above all, peace is to create a climate of harmony and well-being in family and community. "

KABUL, Afghanistan (Sept. 17) - General Stanley McChrystal, commander of International Security Assistance Forces in Afghanistan, announced today ISAF will not conduct offensive military operations on Sept. 21to observe the United Nations' International Day of Peace.
"I have directed my forces to support our Afghan partners in ceasing offensive operations on September 21," said General McChrystal. "This is consistent with our intent to help the national army and police take the lead in protecting the Afghan people from the Taliban and other enemies of peace."
McChrystal's decision follows Afghan President Hamid Karzai's announcement that Afghan National Security Forces will not conduct operations on Sept. 21. Karzai noted that ANSF may continue to defend themselves and the Afghan public from insurgent attacks, and ISAF maintains the same provision for self-defence.

Photos and pictures show the local Italian flags on both vehicles hit, one almost destroyed.

The Afghan capital was the scene of several attacks this year. Shortly before the elections in August, the headquarters of NATO in Kabul was the target of a suicide bomber driving a car bomb, killing seven Afghan civilians.

Preliminary results of the elections indicate that Karzai won 54.6% against 27.8% of Abdullah with a turnout of 38.7%. Official results should be announced within weeks.

According to the commander of the UN mission in Afghanistan, Norway's Kai Eide, the elections also caused problems for foreign forces.

He admitted that his deputy, the American Peter Galbraith left the country after a disagreement. Unconfirmed say that the American said he favored full recount of the votes, which could throw Afghanistan into a political limbo for months.

Are you seeking peace with wars? Killing innocent people? children, women killed by their bullets are just loss of conflict?
I leave that question to the lords of war????

The UN is also calling for NATO to investigate the attack. Peter Galbraith, the deputy head of the UN mission in Afghanistan, said he was "deeply concerned". He added: "Measures should be taken to examine what happened and why an air strike was carried out in circumstances where it was difficult to determine with certainty whether civilians were present or not."
