Another cause that deserves attention,

Dear friends,

This message I received a few days ago:

The situation is this: Our friend Rashad Javed runs Project Hope Development in the Punjab region of Pakistan---this is an area where the Taliban is making too much progress in advancing in their quest to kill as many as possible and take over.................Rashad is a fine example of those who live their lives daily promoting peace through only helping others whether it is with legal, medical, et. al. and I believe that due to what he does and where he lives the danger to him and his family is growing rapidly.
He informs me that he has already received a letter telling him to stop his activities which he says is a threat to him and all who work with him as well as his family.
He says that whatever happens to him he is at peace as God takes care of him but is worried for his family and those around him.
They are scared enough now that he is trying to raise a sum of money to hire guards for his offices and he has had to cancel the phone and fax numbers.
I am trying to help him, through iPeace to get some assistance.
I am wiring some money to him tomorrow and believe that Stephanie as well is going to send him something.

I know that there are many, too many, that are suffering everyday and that so many people, despite great hearts and intentions, simply cannot help, let alone try to help everyone. But I also know that the way to peace is through each person individually taking some small action to help another, especially one who has dedicated his life to helping those less fortunate and/or desperate.

Any more information please let me know and I will do anything I can. I am dedicated to this--------------period.
