I love myself...I love you.... I love you....I love myself...

A lover asked his beloved,

Do you love yourself more than you love me?

Beloved replied, I have died to myself and I live for you.

I've disappeared from myself and my attributes,

I am present only for you.

I've forgotten all my learnings,

but from knowing you I've become a scholar.

I've lost all my strength, but from your power I am able.

I love myself...I love you.

I love you...I love myself.

I could reach great heights with Your love,
and with longing for You
I will increase a hundredfold.
They ask, “Why are you circling him?”
O ignorance, I am circling myself.
— Quatrain 1138, Rumi

Thanks for creating this group, I LOVE Rumi :-)

Look At Love

look at love
how it tangles
with the one fallen in love

look at spirit
how it fuses with earth
giving it new life

why are you so busy
with this or that or good or bad
pay attention to how things blend

why talk about all
the known and the unknown
see how the unknown merges into the known

why think seperately
of this life and the next
when one is born from the last

look at your heart and tongue
one feels but deaf and dumb
the other speaks in words and signs

look at water and fire
earth and wind
enemies and friends all at once

the wolf and the lamb
the lion and the deer
far away yet together

look at the unity of this
spring and winter
manifested in the equinox

you too must mingle my friends
since the earth and the sky
are mingled just for you and me

be like sugarcane
sweet yet silent
don't get mixed up with bitter words

my beloved grows
right out of my own heart
how much more union can there be

I am a sculptor, a molder of form.
In every moment I shape an idol.
But then, in front of you, I melt them down
I can rouse a hundred forms
and fill them with spirit,
but when I look into your face,
I want to throw them in the fire.
My souls spills into yours and is blended.
Because my soul has absorbed your fragrance,
I cherish it.
Every drop of blood I spill
informs the earth,
I merge with my Beloved
when I participate in love.
In this house of mud and water,
my heart has fallen to ruins.
Enter this house, my Love, or let me leave.

Casa de oaspeti
de Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi

Aceasta fiinta umana este o casa de oaspeti:
In fiecare dimineata, un nou venit.
O bucurie, o intristare, o josnicie,
O priza de constiinta trecatoare, toate apar
Precum un oaspete neasteptat.

Intampina-i si bucura-i pe toti!
Chiar daca sunt un grup de regrete,
Ce-ti zguduie violent casa golita de mobila.
Totusi, trateaza onorabil fiecare oaspete.
El te poate conduce spre o noua incantare.
Gandul intunecat, rusinea, rautatea,
Intampina-le la usa razand,
Si invita-le inauntru.

Fii recunoscator oricarui oaspete ce vine,
Caci fiecare a fost trimis
Ca un ghid de dincolo.

Guest House
of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi

This being human is a guest house:
Every morning, a newcomer.
A joy, a sorrow, a meanness, a pass into the outlet, all appear like an unexpected guest. Welcomes them and enjoy them all!
Even if a group of regrets, what a violent shake your house empty of furniture. However, treat each guest honorably.
It can lead to a new delight.
Gandul overcast, shame, rautatea, have them at the door laughing,
And invite them in.
Be grateful for any guest who comes
Because each has been sent
As a guide beyond
