When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: I think that fear has held people back from moving into new ways of living in the world. I believe from my own research that the people with the most, fear the most and so try to control and isolate the larger mass of people who they percieve as different and with the potential to take away what the people with most have. Isolating us with fear, which works so well, seems to have been the obvious choice and since it worked in the past so well. They just keep doing it.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I am an artist, a life coach and an equine assisted psychotherapist, as well as a researcher. I presently live in Hawaii and riding and being with nature and animals is one of my great joys in life as is the moment when someone who doesn't understand something really gets it for the first time.

New Years Eve 2009 We must make our changes in the now, not the future!

I just watched a beautiful Utube video called Predictions for 2010 from Beyond. This video says that during this next year we will find out everything we've wanted to know, we will cure many diseases we cannot now, we will essentially become the co-creators that we have longed for and waited for in the world.

What it didn't say was that none of that is going to happen unless we actually step into first making the changes within our own selves to allow those changes to manifest.

Thanksgiving

It is the eve of Thanksgiving and I just found out that two people who are connected to people I love have cancer. One of them with a cancer that killed my best friend in the world. Colleen Davies. However Colleen died because she didn't want to be here any longer. She was depressed with her life here and truly didn't want to be here any longer. This is a book I highly recommend to read yourself and to give or lend to everyone around you.
