- I'm a southern brazilian, psychologist, currently in Rome pursuing an MBA program. i am dedicating my studies to international marketing and emerging markets sustainable development.
I believe the only war worth to be fought is the one that threats my own freedom, the freedom and rights of my weaker brothers or my home and family. However, somebody must threat them, otherwise I will have a calm happy life...
I consider myself very lucky to be born in Brazil. Its a country where numerous races, religions, dialets and traditions found a place to call home. A very paradoxal place, full of resources, not fairly shared with its people.
I believe individual actions are the key for a greater change. Even if we blame whole populations on the disaster the world is, everybody has its own mind and heart, and each person is responsible for their own choices in attitudes.
I believe awareness, education, information, empathy and imagination are the most important instruments of tolerance, peace, community life and growth promotion.
Nobody is forced to Love anything, but its not that difficult to appreciate the difference and be tolerant.
Make Peace, Leave Love for later! :)

Also your differentiating between Peace and Love is so on target. There are things we should/must do, unconnected to the deep feelings (or fluffy ones) of love, etc that we want to have as well.
