When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other
So what is it?
Domestic Violence is also a burning issue. I hope to empower more people to get out of such relationships, and ultimately find peace within themselves!
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
More
Fear I believe breeds hatred. So I believe that a lot of prejudices exist because some see diversity as the stereotypes that are portrayed by the media. It is out of fear that they won't take the actual time to get to know someone who is different than what they are used to. So they find comfort in prejudice. Until this changes, not much else will!

LET MY WORDS Let my words speak for themselves, as crystal glasses falling off shelves!
Let my words tear at your heart,
Gut wrenching, as when loved ones part.

Let my words cut to your core,
and live on when I am no more!
Let my words sing sweet, profound!
gratifying the tongue as a chocolate mound!

Let my words guide through the night,
shining down on you, translucent moonlight!
Let my words speak of surrender!
Experiencing life in its pain and splendor!

Let my words whisper near your lobes,
Sharing my poetry all over the globe!
Let my words tell you my life story,
of gloom and despair, and then God's glory!

Let my words ring like wind chimes!
Resounding forgiveness and peace that is mine!
Let my words speak truth notorious!
Embracing all that is me,....
I am!

Love is always present, in the world, in nature, in us. What changes is our realisation of it.
Sending you a hearty smile from nature, dear Antoinette.

Hello Antoinette,
Thank you for your inspired words. I read your poem , I love it. I've always love to write poetry.
In my journey, God redirected my path to share my story and write to heal and inspire others.
I will add your book to my list of books to read, and I will add your book on my bookshelf on my, myspace page.
Keep in touch and watch how good God is.

Your poetry is amazing! We must never forget how important our focus needs to continue on domestic violence--education is the key! Peace out, CP

Poetry written by you is good quality and represent a form of looking a little soul of a poet. Poetry your words have resonance in the Universe, are words full of feeling. They hide or make sense message.
Congratulations!
Please forgive me but I know to write correctly in English so I turned to google translator, I hope he understands what I wrote

Let My Words rings truth. This describes the Sword of Christ. The doubled edged sword of the tongue. Words need to sting to awaken Man asleep in the Hue of human.
