Blanket the World With Peace Project

The Blanket the World With Peace Project was started by Anna Martin in 2002 as a collaborative project for school children and organizations to illustrate peace through the resolution of conflict. The project was planned and executed in Tapped In (www.tappedin.org. The Peace Blanket never evolved into more than the original seeds that were contributed by the project planning group, but the potential is still there to move forward.

The Peace Blanket site is designed to display 'quilt squares' that demonstrate or illustrate the theme of peace through the resolution of conflict. The squares can be one link deep, which allows for schools and organizations to create web pages that contain more in-depth illustrations of what their quilt square represents. The illustrations can include dance, music, poetry, art. If you are interested in participating in this project, log in to Tapped In with a free membership and join the Blanket the World with Peace group.
