When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom

More: Simply put, religion is a business - it requires an income. Thus, even though its main objective should be the spiritual development of its "patrons", there's always the underlying need for money and profit. Consequently, the door is open for politics, greed, and human corruption. There are religions that are practiced very well and positively, but there's always corruption somewhere, which leads to such human devices as wars, hatred, discrimination, and segregation of the human population. This means that, as ridiculous as it sounds, religion, which is meant to make one at peace with the world, separates you from many of your Earthen companions, making the world more impersonal and diseased.

More about me: I'm a white male of above average intelligence who comes from a stable environment and who has never felt the pressure of hard times or severe injustice, which makes me feel as though it's not only my right but my responsibility to help all those who were not and are not as fortunate as I am.
