When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Hunger, Poverty, Education, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other
So what is it?
Respect
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Fear
More
Tolerance vs Acceptance, we are being taught to tolerate and to take action out of fear. I believe we need to teach to accept and to take action out of compassion.

There is much focus on weakness rather than strengh, fear is disempowering, it brings with it a feeling of helplessness in a time when hands need to extend and the world needs to act as a global community. Had I known you were going to ask this question I could have prepared a novel...almost.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
Everyday I do at least one thing to try to effect positive change in the world. I am an optimist in a time of pessimism...sometimes I feel I am drowing in others pain...but mostly I focus on the power of each individual. What if our only purpose is to help each other reach our highest potential...that is one of my guiding philosophies.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes

The pic below is from the Chalk4Peace website.…

Namaste pronounced nah-mah-stay. It is my understanding that this is an Indian greeting that can be used both upon meeting and departing, often accompanied by a gesture of hands held together over the heart with head slightly bowed.

Namaste

I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides

I honor the place in you which is

of Love, of Truth, of Light, of Peace,

when you are in that place in you,

and I am in that place in me,

then we are… Continue
