Excellent information, extraordinary I would say, and I hope that people take the time to read it. It is midnight here in Italy, but give me tomorrow to read it once again after my morning expresso and milk.
After so many responses I was actually arriving at suggesting a kind of "poll" where each different culture could answer questions that would help us understand one another - I knew that this kind of thing was necessary in order to compare our feelings and our differences. Things like "Do you speak up when you don't agree with things? Do you feel comfortable out of your own country, and if not, why? What things are important to you that you feel other societies don't feel are important? The possibilities of questions are endless. It's late here but I did want to get back to your very valuable writing and let you know it was just what I was hoping to see, although I didn't know it would come in such a professional presentation and I say, "complimenti!"
I do hope it is useful to others as it was to me. I'm sure we will have the chance to discuss again.
