- Welcome to ME. My name is Dina, I am a mother of two, an educator, a student of Islamic Mysticism, and above all...a seeker of Truth. I may not be perfect, but I am always ME.

When this song hit the record stores in 2001, I was immediately drawn to it. It blared outa my car stereo every morning on the way to work...my kids will testify to that! :P
But recently, I learned the meaning behind the song...8 years later...and it came to me at a time when I had just lost my mother to breast cancer.
The song has special meaning to me now...

My Cup Runs Over Have you ever wondered why God gives so much? We could exist on far less. He could have left the world flat and gray; we wouldn't have known the difference. But he didn't.

Did he have to make the squirrel's tail furry?
Was he obliged to make the birds sings?
And the funny way that chickens scurry

If we give gifts to show our love, how much more would he? If we - speckled with foibles and greed - love to give gifts, how much more does God, pure and perfect God, enjoy giving gifts to us?

Thank you for the assurance that my work for you will never be lost. The Lord Jesus promised that even a cup of cold water given in his name will not lose its reward.
May I be zealous, steadfast, and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and utterly counting on you.
I trust you, Lord, because I believe that my efforts for you are not in vain. May I always give myself fully to your work, knowing that anything else I might accomplish in this life will have no value in eternity.
