The world appears to be owned and operated by the ego--or fear. Fear only has power because of lack of awareness. In general, most of us are unaware of our true spiritual nature, which is eternal, love, and light. Most of us are unaware that there truly is nothing to fear, that we are indeed safe, loved, and forgiven at all times. We are still caught in the illusion, or as the Hindus call it, maya. This lack of awareness is the great obstacle to peace. Because of a spiritual experience I was blessed with in the past, I myself am now aware of what I am writing about here on an intellectual level (and only to a limited degree). It hasn't yet been translated to my subconscious, or self, hasn't become a personal truth. In other words, I still have bad days (sadly). The more I share about what I've learned on a spiritual level, the more I realize how little I know.
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
Even though I was blessed with a Divine experience of Love, I still know very little. This is the conclusion I've come to after getting about half way into the great spiritual book 'Autobiography of a Yogi'.
Promise to respect others and refrain from spamming?
Yes

Hi Robbie,
Glad to hear the clouds are moving into the distance. That was beautiful when Venus and Jupiter were aligned with the moon. I was driving to my mom's in Hot Springs Village - no street lights so I got to see it so wonderfully.

Do you have a meditation practice? You said you are reading The Autobiography of a Yogi - have you read other similar books?

I am always amazed by people who changed their lives like you have done, going by how you described yourself in your article/blog. How long ago did you experience of Divine Love (don't really know what to call it) happened?

I am gathering you have read Eckhert Tolle, yes? Have you listened to his CD's "The Flowering of Human Consciousness"? I found it to be wonderful, listened to it over and over and over.....a few summers ago when I was in a dark place. I think it got me through each day. I'd highly recommend it anyone who is interested in knowing the Truth of who they are.

One of my 'practices' has been to allow what is emotionally - i say 'practice' because in many ways i didn't have much choice about it - just my personal wiring to feel so completely what is moving through (can cry at a comercial :) ).... anyway, it has been helpful... we spend so much of our time trying to avoid the 'negative' feelings and trying to cling to the positive ones, makes for a crazy mind. so, allowing whatever emotion is coming to move up into consciousness and just watch it, allow it (not spewing it on everyone), but being with it can help the emotions to start losing their grip. I have had moments when I've been down in the floor (literally) on my knees sobbing and at the same time can feel a sense of witnessing and knowing that it is all perfect, that it will pass and i'm okay - there is actually a sense of peace surrounding me, holding the space while at the same time their is the deep grief moving through. it took me a while to get to the point where i wasn't totally caught up in the emotion, totally identified with it and became overwhelmed and frightened by it.

anyway, i get started on this stuff and i can go on....i enjoy sharing spiritually with others....

great sharing with you.

in peace and service,
kaycie

Robbie,
you know you are on the right track when you know you don't know - yeah! the more i know the less i know - very wierd. a lousy mood comes and goes - the ever present peace is always there holding that lousy mood like the sky holds the clouds. you wrote about your experience and it was perfectly written and shared. i like your honesty and willingness to be real and with what is - even if it is a lousy mood. And, don't know if your into this - there have been alot of planteary things going on the last few days too - I know I have felt very off and not in a great mood either.

I agree with the comment below about the Autobriography of a Yogi - I cried through that one. Thank you for your offer of frienship - grateful to be your friend.
Much love and light,
Kaycie

Robbie, your loving nature pours through from your eyes from your peaceful soul...no worries, and I too love the book, 'Autobiography of a Yogi' it changed my life, and I have read it numerous times..another life changing book, 'A Course in Miracles' has also shifted my awareness profoundly away from ego-fearful seeing/thinking to much more Spirit-lead guidance of learning our lesson...which is one...which is that we ARE One...thank you for sharing your light and love here, we are waking up to Heaven together....no other way to do it...In Love and Joy, Peter

Robbie,
just read about your experience on your website. very amazing and a Divine blessing for you (and the world). Thanks for sharing.

I like the quote from Eckhert Tolle "if you can truly BE with a flower, you would need no other teacher". I think you really KNOW what he means.

In peace,
Kaycie
