When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?: I feel the pain in the world

What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: War, Hunger, Poverty, Our Planet, Violence, Inflation, Our Shrinking Freedom, Other

So what is it?: The lack of respect between people, and the lack of love to each other.

More: I have marked religion as being the biggest obstacle for peace but I really don't understand why there should be religious wars or war for any other possible reason. How can a handfull of men say we are at war and it is so. It's beyond me.
I cannot elaborate on this as I don't understand it.

More about me: I am a pacifist, abhor war for any reason. I am also horrified that rich countries and Government and even individuals with enormous abundance can justify themselves when seeing many of the peoples of our World dying from hunger, thirst, bad living conditions, and disease. The money spent fruitlessly on War should be spent on educating and supplying the means for poorer countries to lift themselves our of poverty..
