What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?: Poverty, Our Planet, Violence, Human Rights

What must we overcome to achieve peace?: Fear

More: simply put, when all the layers are removed, everything that is not love, is fear. It can be distilled to those two choices in every moment I believe.

Can we change the world?: Definitely

More about me: I am trying to be mindful and discover through compassionate self awareness who I am. It has taken me to this point in my life to realize that judgement of self and others is not the way. I am working to understand and accept myself in hopes of gaining generosity of spirit and compassion for others. I don't believe anyone need go hungry on our planet, or that we need to treat our earth with disrespect. Food and shelter first, and then education seems to be the necessary order of things for our evolution en masse. Small frequent acts of kindness ripple through our universe.

I went to Vancouver when a young girl...I rmeember meeting a boy at the campsite and saying to my parents, well, I am 18!!!! so we went out for a walk. He found me through a book my father wrote....really mature of him, looking up the editor!!! nothing became of it
